Long time user - lost

I had the very original when Starbucks in conjunction with Apple gave out freebie baseball style cards with free music and apps. That’s how long ago. That original app got phased out so I had to buy this junk called “PRO”. I didn’t mind because I had pro & was supporting a developerbut I was duped. Throttled with limits that shouldn’t exist. I’m back years later to see it’s no better and cost more. Another app I can delete to make room for something legit. Bye-bye… oh SNAP!

We’re not familiar with the Starbucks/Apple promotion you’re referring to, but OSnap!‘s pricing model has remained consistent since its original release. Existing owners have never lost access to features they previously purchased, and no version of the app has been phased out. Over the years we’ve added many new features, some of which are available as optional in-app purchases for specialized functionality. There are no throttles or retroactive limits placed on existing customers. If you’re running into something that doesn’t seem right, we’d genuinely like to help. Don't waste your money!

No exposure control, can't use pro max wide angle camera, no useful instructions. how does a half baked product get such good reviews?

Thank you for your review. To clarify, you can control exposure/focus/white balance by tapping anywhere on the camera screen and then using the lock icons to lock each of these components separately. Also, you can cycle through the hardware camera lenses (including the wide angle) by tapping the bottom center button on the camera screen. Check before you upgrade

So I have O Snap regular or light, whatever you call it, but thought I’d upgrade to pro to get voice over function and whatever other bits might make it better, like maybe drag and drop frames, because surely that’s included in Pro right? But wait, you don’t get voice over with the £5.99 upgrade that’s an extra £1.99! The app looks exactly like the regular version with no major improvements and it’s now going to cost me £1.99 for the only one that’s actually useful. I upgraded because it looks like the new version, will be a subscription model, and we all know that’s always a good thing for the user right? Couldn’t be more disappointed. Don’t upgrade. Get the regular version while you can and work around the issues.

No PNG import

I was happy purchasing the PRO version and import images add-on (at an extra cost) only to find out that you cannot import png images. Not happy.

Amazing!!!

I just completed a Timelapse project using 4 iPhones in four locations over three days, shooting at different times, day and night, using Blackout periods. No other app could have come close to giving me the flexibility and power that OSnap! Pro delivers! Hands down!!! Great app!!! 👍👍👍

I’ve used this app on and off for a few years. It’s great. I had a very specific issue/question yesterday (October 2022) and the *developer* responded to my email in less than a day. Wow. And his answer was very clear. So, of course, I had to write a positive review.

Where do I even begin, no option to ask questions, app support, nothing buy it and good luck… I just want to change the order of the photos but for some reason, that super simple thing is IMPOSSIBLE … I literally just wasted 30 minutes trying to figure this out, find a manual, look for a resolution online, someway to contact the developer… Cannot delete this garbage app fast enough!!! what a waste!

Feel cheated by extra costs

I got this app on a recommendation for a project I am about to do and was told I’d need the paid version but it was worth it. So I download and start tinkering only to discover that one of the features I need involves a further purchase. Not cool in my book.
I am however impressed with the number of available settings that can be tweaked.
I just can’t get over paying for the premium version and then having to fork out more than the original price again if I want to use all of the features. I feel conned.

Terrific app for long-term timelapse

I’ve been using this app since 2013, and it’s one of those rare gems that starts good and keeps getting better. The new time stamp feature is especially well thought out, and adds interesting context to your timelapse videos. Keep up the great work, folks!

Can’t figure out how to upload videos

I have time lapse videos I want to upload to edit. Closest feature I can find is photo import which is additional purchase on top of the already expensive app. I wasted $4.

Not happy at all!!

I paid 4.99 to purchase this app, only to find out I also have to pay .99 to import any photos. And if I want to save or export whatever project I make I then have to pay an additional 1.99, plus .99 extra if I want voiceover. Now I’m not a math wizard, but that comes to just under $4 not including tax, so my original payment of 4.99 should have been plenty to cover that. They are kind of important features in an app like this after all. So what exactly did my 4.99 pay for?

In fact, each of the in-app purchase add-ons mentioned unlock specialized functionality that is peripheral to the core feature set of OSnap! That core feature set, which contains a collection of features too massive to enumerate here, is what you get for $4.99.
