What’s New in Version 5.0.0: • Reorganized Main Menu: The main menu is now organized into Screening Tools, Intervention Tools, and Resources & Support for easier navigation. • Custom Strategy Storage: Users can now save their own custom grasping, visual-motor integration, and handwriting strategies for future use. • New Class List Tool: Import a class list and quickly provide pre-referral strategies for multiple students at once. The app automatically creates a single teacher-facing data form containing suggested strategies and simple classroom data-tracking options. • New Word Bank Tool: Uses Apple’s onboard Apple Intelligence to generate word banks based on a selected topic and target grade level. • New Sentence Machine Tool: Uses Apple Intelligence to generate simple, topic-based sentences at K–5 grade levels for students to copy. • Handwriting Screener Updates: Handwriting screening forms are now presented in landscape orientation to provide students with more space when copying target sentences. A quick objective observation checklist has also been added for therapists. • New How-To Videos: Onboard instructional videos have been added to demonstrate how to use the features and tools throughout the OT Screener iOS app.
