Worst update ever!
This stinks! You had a beautiful app, which worked well and gave me a whole lot of news sports up at local stuff, Canada, wide world news. I was happy to subscribe to it because I got my moneys worth. This “update“ has taken you so.back it is ridiculous. I’ve paid those month’s subscription for the Ottawa Sun App but can’t access articles that are supposed to be from the Ottawa Sun! I’m canceling my subscription. I will use CBC News which me read any article for free!

News that's a YEAR old?
Huge step backwards. Most articles are from 11-12 months ago. No search for specific articles. Baits you with content that is now behind a pay wall, which the old app never did. Far fewer categories-- no "life" or "auto," and even the sunshine girls are missing. App doesn't even respond to light / dark mode settings. I only used this app for local Ottawa news but now I have to hunt for it; all the default articles are Toronto even though I selected "Ottawa" during setup. I'm ditching this app. CBC and CTV can give me what I want without all the "You Said It" op-ed junk. This app should have been tested in beta. Awful.

Pages do not load, some articles are months old, and app freezes constantly.
So I keep writing this
Only can read one article the the rest will not load. Different section have stories from months before and will not update.so still having trouble and know can not even finish one article as app freezes.

Same thing everyone else is saying
They did an update, it stopped working. People are paying for their online subscription and it never works. You’d think that would be a pretty big concern, right? Well, no, if you try to email the provided address for feedback, several times even, you will not even receive a response. Almost a full month of paying for something that can not be used, and haven’t even received a response. Cant say I would recommend.

BAD update!
Freezes on a white screen when opening articles. Causes iPhone to crash and shut down! Useless now. Notorious for bad updates.

Your app won’t open any articles. It crashed my phone when I waited to see if something would open.

Latest version causes phone to crash, starts with empty content then phone reboots. I removed the app until it’s fixed.

Why Bother?
This is a terrible app. I paid for a subscription, but every time I open it, it crashes when I click on an article, and forces my iPad to reboot. Why not just deep-six the whole app and start over?

No longer working
Had this app for years on my iPhone. Recently it has stopped working. If I click on a story the app goes to a blank white screen. Delete and reinstall does not fix the issue.

Would have paid for a subscription but the app is so unreliable it’s not even worth the space it occupies on my phone
