Repeated multiple times but generated junk garbled texts
"Award-winning" joke of an app. Save your money.
Don't let the marketing fool you, this app is a massive waste of money. They boast about being an "award-winning" platform, but they can't even handle basic processing. I am paying $30 a month, and yet I'm consistently waiting 10, sometimes up to 24 hours, just to get a simple meeting summary and transcript.
If I wanted to wait an entire day to know what happened in my meeting, I would have taken manual notes. The entire selling point of AI meeting assistants is speed and efficiency, both of which are completely non-existent here. Paying premium price for snail-pace delivery is a joke. Avoid this app at all costs.

Love the app it allows me to stay engaged in meetings

I have used Otter for a number of years both in my professional career and personal work. It is a wonderful tool to have for dictating notes and then generating a transcript.
Transcription intake
I find order very useful too and doing my intake sessions for my attention disorder clinic also useful when going over results and providing an accurate record to review when needed

Captures every word I tried two or three different ones actually works the best and it’s free

Captures pretty good, audio, and summarizes things very well, wouldn’t be able to take all these notes from my meetings without it

Hi.. been a tough week with otter ai with conversations not recording. Or saving. I needed it for a submission and now struggling.

All of the requirements a personal assistant needs to be to fulfill the requirements of a personal assistant with even features that are beyond what the average personal assistance can do with just a click of the mouse and the wonderful minutes but for the most part, transcribes notes, are accurately, you might have to correct something

Very capable - but must watch their pricing
Otter is very capable, but there is increasing competition in this space and they must watch their pricing if they’re not to be superseded. Worth also checking out Notta, which appears to be the main competitor.
Practical
In my daily work I have conversations with people in other languages, I use it to not to miss a word of what they say. This helps my work performance.

Fantastic product. Been using it for a while. As someone that is constantly in meetings, not only is the basic AI transcription fantastic, the image capture feature is often indispensable as it gives you instant context to what you were discussing without having to go find materials.

The BEST!
Otter transcribes even when the app is closed! I set it to record/begin transcribing and then I go to social media and play a video and when I come back to Otter, it’s transcribing all of it!!
