Using Otter has revolutionized my writing. I now just talk my chapters an article articles, and then get the transcript and organize them using Chatgpt then add my own humanization of that and it’s really speed it up my writing and it deeply improved it.

Greatest app ever
I learned about otter ai thru school they told me to use it as a tool to study and for lectures. I was skeptical at first but once I mastered it, I began getting As and Bs. This tool is one of the reasons I’m 17 units shy of my associates. Yes, I know thats nothing, however, school has always been super hard as I was always lost and didn’t know what was going on class. This is a huge milestone for me. I can now follow along in class and I even turn in my homework on time! Because I’m able to go back and reference what they are talking about. Thanx Otter AI!

My one and only AI meeting recorder.
I’ve been using Otter for about two to three years now. I have both a business account and a personal account. I use my personal account primarily for doctor visits, and the workflow has been a game-changer.
Before each appointment, I let the doctor know I’ll be recording the session. I do this because the speed at which doctors speak, combined with medical terminology I may or may not fully understand, makes it easy to forget important details. Recording helps me mitigate that, and doctors typically have no issue with it.
Once I get home, I adjust the speaker labels in the app, then download the transcript. I have a prompt I use to help me process the session: What happened during the visit? What are the five most important things discussed? And what follow-up do I need to take, whether that’s confirming a prescription with the pharmacy, scheduling a follow-up appointment, or getting lab work done. It’s all captured. From there, I create calendar reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.
I love Otter. It gives me a sense of security when walking into appointments where I sometimes feel like I’m not taken seriously. Thank you, Otter, for helping me get the care I actually need and deserve.

I’ve used Otter for years as a journalist who had to cover long, boring meetings, review press conferences, and transcribe interviews. Otter made doing all of this so much easier and saved me countless hours. And what I love is that I can always go back and ask Otter to help me find or to summarize a particular part of a meeting or interview.
