About

Make room for a little play. OtterCheckers brings classic American checkers to a beautiful forest-green board, with glossy black and red 3D plastic pieces, warm wood, and music that makes every match feel a little lighter. PLAY YOUR WAY Challenge the computer at three difficulty levels, or choose 2 players and share the same iPhone or iPad. Local matches work offline. Play friends online through Game Center, or share an invitation through Messages, Mail, or another sharing app. Both players need OtterCheckers and a Game Center account. CLASSIC RULES, THOUGHTFUL DETAILS Choose relaxed play with optional captures, or turn on Require jumps when starting a new game. Flowing multi-jumps and stacked kings make the familiar game feel wonderfully tactile. Men move and capture forward; kings move and capture in both directions. Crowning ends the turn. A LITTLE HELP WHEN YOU WANT IT Optional move markers help you find your next move. Local games include glowing hints and undo. Review your match and pick up where you left off with automatic saving. Online games save through Game Center. MADE TO FEEL GOOD True 3D pieces catch the light as you gently tilt your device. Smooth movement, gentle haptics, subtle sound effects, and three original instrumental tracks totaling more than thirteen minutes create a welcoming place to play. Music and sound effects have independent controls. COMFORTABLE ON IPHONE AND IPAD Enjoy layouts that make the most of your screen, VoiceOver board controls, a high-contrast flat board option, and support for Reduce Motion. One purchase. No ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. No account required for local play. Online play requires Game Center and an internet connection.
