This App is a scam

I live in a remote location where there are only a few Indian people. But this app shows hundreds of people who live nearby and I know for a fact that they are not. Most of them are just bot profiles. Don’t waste your time on this app.

We did have catfishing accounts on OtterHalf and we have removed hundreds of them. Every new profile now goes through selfie verification, which is what closed that door, and your review predates that change. The rest of what you describe does not match what we can see on our side, so we would rather look at it properly than guess. Email support@otterhalf.app with the rough area you are in and we will go through exactly what your account was served and tell you plainly what we find.

Worst app ever

This application is worst ever I seen Ask for too much big subscriptions but didn’t get match. Don’t waste money on this app.

You should never have to pay to find out whether this works for you, and we are sorry it felt that way. Seeing who likes you is free on OtterHalf and always has been. No blur, no unlock. A subscription adds reach and filters. It does not buy matches, and we would not want anyone signing up thinking it did. If you want us to check whether your profile was actually being shown to people, email support@otterhalf.app with the area you are in and we will look. If you did subscribe and want it back, Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com and we will not contest it.

Clean and easy

No complaints so far. Profile setup was quick, UI is clean, and I like the South Asian focus. Definitely worth trying if you’re tired of the usual apps.

Good for serious dating

Most apps are just timepass. This one feels more intentional. I like that profiles have prompts and you can get a better sense of the person before matching.

Finally a desi app that doesn’t feel dead

Tried this after getting tired of Dil Mil and Hinge. Honestly pretty solid so far. App is clean, profiles are better than expected, and it feels like people are actually looking for something real.

Please include a feature to reset all previous rejects

The app is really good with a very clean UX. I didn’t see any option to reset my past rejections. I’d happily pay for that feature.
But great work on the app. Finally a decent app for South Asians.

Smooth UX, Feature loaded app

Really liking this app so far. It’s super easy to navigate, and everything just flows nicely. The design feels clean and simple, which makes it enjoyable to use.

Just waiting for the user base to grow a bit more—but it definitely has a lot of potential.
