It always starts me back over.
I made it to day 323 but it started back to day 1 again. How come it keeps doing that?
Updates breaks things
This is my go to app for daily devotional readings and I truly love it. I have been using this for years but it seems that every time they do an update, something stops working. This new update broke the daily images at the end of the insight. This is quite frustrating.
Missing Text
App has missing text for several months now and today’s update didn’t resolve it. Version 5.5.7

Glitch
I’ve used this excellent app for years very happily.
However there is a recent glitch - it no longer connects to the bible reading & one has to look it up separately.
Not so user friendly now so I hope it can be fixed please.

This is hands down my favorite App for audio devotionals and meditating on scripture. I have been loving the Evening Meditation option. Hearing the word read with calming music is helping me a lot. Thank you for making this available.

I miss the short melody and “Welcome to Our Daily Bread” at the beginning. It gave me time to get my volume right and it was just nice. But, that’s small potatoes. God bless and peace on earth!

Tried to listen to the devotional this morning and there’s an audio playback error.
I like listening to the devotional, especially for the prayer, because sometimes the wording for the prayer isn’t very long, but the person saying, the prayer is better.
I read ODB on my phone or iPad. Today and yesterday the app won’t open, it just spins. I have shut down my phone thinking that may be the problem, still didn’t work. My iPad works fine, is there a problem with the phones?
This is also mess with my daily count of reading.

A Beautiful Part of My Mornings with Jesus!
I love this app so much - I enjoy the devotions each morning as I drink coffee, read my Bible, and pray.
The devotions are beautifully written and photos are stunning.
Heads up, if you have to adjust font size on your phone, some words will seem to “cut off.” (Today’s devotion was a great example of it). I changed the font on my phone back to a bit smaller but I’d love it if (in a future update), the text size was automatic.
Perfect app and one I ,can’t imagine being without!

New update
I love the new format on devotionals and the evening meditation right on the home page
Another update and STILL no new Bible versions added.
So there has been ANOTHER ODB update, and yet there have not been any new Bible versions added to the app.
I was told well over a year ago when I asked why there were only five common Bible versions available in the app after ODB stopped using Bible Gateway as their link to Scripture verses, that ODB was “working on” getting more versions. But after numerous updates that has STILL not happened.
As I said in my last review, while I can understand why ODB felt the need to stop using Bible Gateway as their link for the Scripture verses, they should NOT have stopped using Bible Gateway UNTIL they had at least close to the same number of the most commonly used Bible versions that were available through Bible Gateway.
In addition to that issue, I have also noticed that some of the devotional readings have become more “woke” in their content, which is both disappointing and disturbing.
As a result of what I believe are some troubling signs about where the Our Daily Bread app is headed, I have stopped using it as one of my daily Bible reading tools.

I’m very grateful for this app. I use it mainly for the mediations. They help me to get to sleep quickly with just Gods word and none of the worldly stuff running my mind. Thank you.

I have been using ODB, off and on, for over 50 years! I keep coming back to it because it is so accessible, encouraging and applicable to my daily life! I love the way it provides a scripture to read and then an application. It is a real-world way for me to envision the scriptures being applied!
