Just the lists app I need
Very easy and straightforward to use. Just add and name a list, add items (it remembers previous ones), tap to cross off, tap to uncross. It’s simple to delete or uncross all crossed-off items in one go, or rename an item or list, fully delete an unwanted item, etc. I use it for all sorts of things that I need to remember and check off the list, not just grocery shopping.

Love it
Love this app. My husband and I use it for all our shopping lists- the pet store, hardware store, etc. Shares and updates our lists between phones and never had a problem. Remembers past items. Easy to add new items and create new lists. We are very happy with it and it simplifies shopping.
Genius App
Absolutely love this app. Super simple to use. Never any glitches. No more forgetting the grocery list at home. No matter where I am my grocery list is with me. Being able to add a picture of each item is amazing. I can send my husband to the store with this app and he comes home with the correct items. It’s genius!

Go back to the old version PLEASE!!!
How do I go back to the old version where every time I selected an item it didn’t take me all the way back to the Home Screen? This new updated version is really annoying and I miss the old way. I love the app for the convenience but this change makes me so frustrated I almost want to go back to a hand written list. 😫
Here to amend my review as I was contacted by the developer and apparently there is a place in the settings that allows you to change this and “add multiple items” but I’m only adding one more star because I am still frustrated that it would change without notice and not keep the original settings. Why not keep the original setting then have you go to settings and change it to only add one at a time if that’s what you want?! Change is hard enough for people don’t make decisions for us too. 🙄😆

Great for families
Works great to share list between family members, the lists are easy to organize, items populate easily, and the widgets are easy. Couldn’t ask for more!
Good app!
I’ve been using this app for several years now. Hubby & I share it so we can both update our list as needed. We use it for multiple stores, each having its own list. And when you always have your phone, you always have your grocery list!
My only real complaint is when updating or adding a note to an item, the app creates a 2nd entry for the item. I feel this should not create another entry, but simply update the existing item. Birthday card is a prime example. I want to be able to add or change the note from “Mom” to “Kathy” to “John” without the app creating a 2nd & 3rd…Birthday card entry. The picture feature is fabulous, and updates the item, so I’d expect adding the note should work the same.

Malware ads
Ads served as of July 2026 appear consistent with malware delivery, so take care not to click. Eg; “iPhone storage full. Clean up now”
Very useful, enhancements wanted
An excellent app, particularly as it syncs across devices. Could do with following enhancements:
1 provide a button to add items (not just a line in the items list)
2 sort all deleted items in alphabetical order / or by category
3 adding a new item and assigning a category takes 5 clicks, this could be reduced to 3 or 2
Hoping for further improvements next version or two :)

** update 22 Jul 26: currently hosting fraudulent scam adverts from ProtectHub.top claiming phone is corrupted and trying to get me to load scam software. Avoid till they fix it!

Your making me nervous!
I have been using this app for years now. I started with the free version and after a couple years upgraded just to throw money their way for making such an awesome app. The upgrade does have improvements though, like being able to add photos. My wife and I are linked (even before I upgraded) which is Super handy! I use the store or facility name for the category. I already know in what department the milk is.
This is the most useful, helpful, and reliable app I have on my phone and wished it was a standard for so many other developers. Please please please don’t go away, sell or drastically change the app.

Absolutely the best
I haven’t come across an app that comes even remotely close. It does its job perfectly with the awesomely smooth experience you only get from developers who actually care about their work. You can add things to your list through voice commands and check items off on your Apple Watch while you move about the grocery store. Give it a shot.

Great shopping app
We’ve been using Our Groceries for years. It’s very convenient to make a list at home and cross items off as you grab them. Sharing the list is even better as my family can add items from wherever. Organizing the list by store section makes it even better and more efficient.

Since then, I have upgraded to the “pay to play” and have come to rely on this app and not just for groceries. I’ve customized it a bit to meet my needs. We’ll have to explore the developers offerings to see if there’s something similar that I can use in other areas of my life, cause I can see how this would be useful just with different options than groceries.
The one thing it might be nice to have as a place to put information for loyalty cards. I’ve kind of adapted my list so I have a hint of what my code is in different stores. It’s not always my phone number.

Good, but could be better
My wife and I use every week. Minor annoyances:
It’s too easy to accidentally touch an item and it disappears to the “crossed off” list. Have also had items add themselves to the list with an image of the item. I think it scans for bar codes in the store,and if your camera spots certain items it will add them to your list. If so, I want to know how to turn this off.

Freaking Awesome!
Simple, super easy to use, works on computer and phone, free themes!!! I totally needed this for meal planning and budgeting. Many locations on the app that allow you to contact the developers. Server updated constantly, so list updates fast between phone and computer. Thank you.

if you like detail and customization, our grocery shopping list is absolutely the best one out there. I’ve tried many. None of them compared to Our Groceries.
