Amazingly well thought out app
OurGroceries has every feature I can think of to make maintaining and using shopping lists between two people a breeze and the features are easy to use and customize. My wife and I have been using it for several years and both love it. Whether we’re shopping solo or splitting the list while both in the same store we always know what’s on the list and what’s been crossed off. We recently contacted support with a question and they replied the same day with a helpful answer. Highly recommended.

I'm abandoning this app after using it for years because it's become so obnoxious with larger ads that now support motion. It was never that great and now it has pushed itself below my threshold of usability.
The OG of Our Groceries
Literally can’t count how many years I have been using this app. Absolutely certain that this is the longest running app I’ve ever used. I feel like it’s been a decade, could that be? There is nothing that will ever replace my OG app. I have lists for everything: groceries (duh), dinner ideas, library books to check out, gift ideas, things to pack, the list goes on (see what I did there)?! Yes, there are other apps for this integrated into our phones but they are always lacking in one way or the other. I will forever be loyal to OG. It’s simple and perfect, love the back up and memory features, wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommended, thank you!! :)

Our Groceries came highly recommended from a person I respected and it’s always worked well for me. I love how I can use it on my computer, phone, and watch — whichever is best at the time! It’s wonderful how a number of us can all share a common grocery list!
Incredible support
After switching from my wonderful Android to this God awful IPhone I couldn’t get my lists from the app. Several emails back and forth and it came down to I had logged in with an extra letter to my email. Not once did they lose their patience. This is one of my favorite apps! It works wonderfully!!!

Good App
Once you learn it, it’s fine, but it’s not the most user-friendly app. Takes some time to set up and get used to. I like that there’s an iOS app and a macOS app that synchronizes.

I don’t only use it for groceries, I create a list to track to-do items - my wife has hers, and I have another. Originally I used two lists for me, one for yard tasks and another for in the house, till I realized I can use one category for each.
One feature I would suggest as a grocery list function is the ability to put a price for each item. That way as you are adding items to your grocery list you will see a total price for them (if you pre-entered the price, which would remain linked to that item always.
It will show total items with the price entered, and that total, and the number of items without an associated price, so you can in your head estimate the remaining items.
As you are shopping you enter the remaining prices for those without a price, so that before you check out, you will know what the cost will be.
If you add this feature, a small extra would be to select how the price field is shown in the summary, and allow the value field to have a custom text name (example ‘Price’ and another person labels it ‘On-Hand Count). Then Either (in the list summary)
- total it (if used as a total cost)
- average it (so that field can be used for different purposes
- delta ( the lowest value, the highest. And delta/difference high minus low)
In all cases the total number of items is always shown.

Watch adds
Adds are not well curated. My wife mistakenly clicked on one while holding the phone and it opened with a loud, embarrassing, threatening message in the middle of a store. We have removed the app.

It’s Broken!
I’ve been using this app for 10 years or more and it’s great. But for the last two or three days it has refused to load on my iPhone. I’ve reloaded the app, but that doesn’t help. It works fine on my iPad. Help!

Great App!
This is a great option for busy families that have several shoppers. For instance, my husband shops for our family at Costco so we have a ‘Costco list’ that all of us can add items to. I mainly shop for food at our local grocery store, so our family members can add items to my ‘Grocery Store’ list. We even have a ‘Walmart List’ for other things we need.
Very easy to use and helps us all keep track of things we need! Highly recommend!
