Why do you need my Apple ID?

Why do you need my Apple ID for me to download this service? I am homeless because I left an abusive relationship, and have been for 3 years because I can’t afford a place of my own! Apps like this are frustrating when you say you offer help, but don’t offer anything! Seems like a scam to me, to have to give you my Apple ID just to search for help with food and shelter!!

Apple requires an ID to download any app. It’s the Apple App Store policy. We have no control of that. Our app does not require any ID, no login, no email required to search for help.

Great app

My husband and I downloaded this app after hearing about it through our church. We live in a community with quite a bit of homelessness so we love how easy it is to share resources and also take pictures if we can’t speak to them directly so someone from our calling can help them.
