Good but had an unknown error recently

Hi, I'd jus like to say this app is great, but, I once got a new device and I decided to download this exact app on it. It clearly said that this app works perfectly on that device. But, when I downloaded the app and put a nickname, it said "Error. Please check your internet." I thought that was normal, but when I checked my internet, even disconecting the internet and turning it back on, it still didn't work. I still use it on my old device. It's really good anyways.
