Three map outlines a day, each one rotated so you can't recognise it. Every outline starts at an angle it never sits at in an atlas, so you can't coast on the picture you remember from school. You have to read the shape itself, the way one edge runs straight where the other frays. HOW IT WORKS Everyone gets the same three puzzles each day, in the same order: a well-known country, a harder country, then a US state. It starts easy. Guess cold for the maximum score, or spend a hint before you commit: - Correct orientation, when the angle is what's beating you - Region, so you're looking at one part of the world - Number of letters - First letter - Show me options, when you want to be done Most hints cut down the list of names you're choosing from. Every hint costs points, so a clean cold guess always beats a hinted one. You pick from a list rather than typing, so a spelling slip never costs you a puzzle. You get four free hints a day, and they arrive with the new puzzles at midnight UTC. WHAT'S IN THE POOL 137 countries and 42 US states, picked for being recognisable. Wyoming is a rectangle. It's not in there. Shapes come from Natural Earth, the public-domain map dataset, so every coastline is the real one. STREAKS AND STATS A day counts toward your streak only when all three puzzles are done. A seven-day strip on the home screen shows where you are. Lifetime stats track your win rate, your best and average score, how many hints you lean on and how you do by category. Free. SHARE WITHOUT SPOILING Share a result card showing your score and the outline at its hidden angle. The name never appears, so your friends get the puzzle rather than the answer.
