I found it easy to download the app, the video at the start was extremely helpful. You are introduced to staff at HMRC who tell you what departments they work in , when they started and then they ask you a question. There is time to think before answering each question. You can start and stop recording when you want to.

the assessment
the assessment was quite stressful and it made me stress as i knew that i only had once chance to say what i wanted to say and if i messed it up i couldn’t start again as there was a timer. I’ve also been having a few problems with other assessments like the interview one and i’m finding the fact that it’s online a bit hard as i can’t communicate properly with anyone. However i do understand why it’s fine like this and it was okay after i relaxed and got comfortable however near the end my family came round and i couldn’t say anything to them as the video had started and i couldn’t restart which was very distracting. in overall it was good though and was quite fun putting myself in a police constables shoes and thinking outside the box.

I think this process is very good. I still do prefer I one-to-one which I know is very hard in a growing police and community as there are so many individuals potentially wanting become a police officer , but I think that video questionnaire was very professional and is a good way to get to know somebody it gives you time to prepare that 60 seconds to think about something that could potentially be a good idea that you can address
