About

Outpost runs a private VPN inside your OWN AWS account — so there's no VPN company in the middle and no logs to trust. Your traffic exits a server only you control; we never see it. Set up and run entirely from your phone: WireGuard or Apple-native IKEv2, 20 AWS regions, and ephemeral servers that spin up on connect and tear down on disconnect — with a hard data cap so AWS never surprises you with a bill. WHY OUTPOST IS DIFFERENT Every mass-market VPN asks you to trust their no-logs promise. Outpost removes the middleman entirely. The VPN server lives in YOUR Amazon Web Services account, runs under keys only you hold, and Outpost never routes or sees a single byte. There is nothing for us to log, sell, or leak — because the traffic never touches us. OWN IT, DON'T RENT IT • Bring your own AWS: the server is yours, in your account, in your control. • Stop renting a shared VPN — pay Amazon directly, typically just a few dollars a month. • No shared servers, no crowded exit IPs inherited from strangers. • No account, no sign-up, no email — and no logs to breach, subpoena, or sell. YOU CONTROL THE INFRASTRUCTURE • WireGuard (default) and Apple-native IKEv2 — switch with a tap. • Exit nodes in 20 AWS regions across the US, Europe, Asia, and more. • Ephemeral by design: a fresh server on connect, terminated on disconnect. • Infrastructure console: see, stop, or terminate any server, with live running cost. • A hard data cap plus an auto-cleanup janitor running in your own account, so a crash, force-quit, or forgotten session can never run up a surprise AWS bill. SECURITY YOU CAN REASON ABOUT • Your AWS keys live only in the iOS Keychain (this device only) — never synced, never sent anywhere else. • WireGuard and IKEv2 keys are generated on-device; the server never hands secrets back. • SSH is never opened on the server, and a least-privilege IAM policy is recommended for the keys you provide. BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO GET IT Prosumers, developers, and privacy enthusiasts who already understand AWS and want a VPN they truly own — not another subscription black box. Provision, connect, watch the cost, and tear down, all from your phone. No console, no Terraform, no SSH. OUTPOST PRO A subscription unlocks the connection: 7-day free trial, then $3.99/month or $29.99/year, or a one-time $199 lifetime purchase. You also pay Amazon directly for the AWS resources you use (usually only a few dollars a month — Outpost never marks it up). Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Your cloud. Your server. Your VPN.
