Outpost: Self-Hosted VPN

Outpost runs a private VPN inside your OWN Amazon Web Services account. There is no VPN company in the middle — because there is no Outpost server anywhere. The app talks straight from your iPhone to AWS, using keys only you hold. VERIFY IT YOURSELF Don't take our word for it. Every action Outpost performs runs under your AWS credentials, in your AWS account — so every single API call is recorded in your own CloudTrail. Read the log. No other VPN can offer you that. WHAT IT DOES • Builds a WireGuard (or Apple-native IKEv2) server in your AWS account in about 60–90 seconds. • 20 AWS regions worldwide — change exit country with a tap. • Ephemeral by design: a fresh server on connect, torn down on disconnect. No always-on box, no monthly VPS. • Infrastructure console: every server you're running, its live cost, and one-tap stop or terminate. • Hard data cap plus an auto-cleanup janitor running in your own account, so a crash, force-quit or forgotten session can't run up a surprise AWS bill. • Tunnel keys are generated on-device. SSH is never opened on the server. A least-privilege IAM policy is provided for the keys you paste. WHAT OUTPOST IS NOT We would rather you know this before you pay: • It is not anonymity software. AWS knows the instance is yours — you own the account and the bill. If you need anonymity, use Tor. • It will not hide you from a state-level adversary. • It is not a shared-IP service. Your exit IP is yours alone: excellent for trust, useless for blending into a crowd. What it does protect: your traffic from the network you're sitting on — hotel, café and airport Wi-Fi — and your browsing from an ISP that logs and sells it, without handing that same data to a VPN provider instead.
