If you’re going to buy a weather app get Mercury Weather instead. Overdrop hasn’t been updated in over a year and Mercury gets normal updates to solve issues that Overdrop doesn’t. Overdrop widgets don’t always work or update.

Widgets ohne Funktion
Ich hatte mir die Premium-Version extra wegen den Widgets geholt, allerdings sind die unter iOS 26 komplett ohne Funktion - die App selbst ist toll, aber ohne Widget-Funktion kann ich auch zu anderen Anbietern mit funktionierenden Widgets wechseln … zumal das Problem jetzt schon lange besteht

Die Optik schaut gut aus allerdings sind die widgets ohne Funktion. Ursprünglich wollte ich das Programm erst testen allerdings scheint das bei der lebenslangen version nicht zu gehen. Bin etwas enttäuscht daher auch nur zwei Sterne.

Bei 30 Grad im Sommer eine Wetterwarnung? Echt jetzt? Ich bin bei euch ü, weil ihr bisher auf den Warnfarnen Hype verzichtet habt.
Für 30 Grad braucht es keine Warnung, es ist einfach Sommer, noch dazu bisher verregnet und kalt.

Widgets are a mess. If I want the weather widget, it needs to be removed and re-added at least once a day, otherwise it's just blank with grey lines where data should be.

this app is more and more becoming my go to over apple’s weather app, but there are still a few issues I have with it that prevent it from really taking that place, and one of the things I’m noticing is that the hourly forecast charts don’t open to the current time. for example, it’s 7:50am right now, and if I open the hourly forecast, it defaults to 12am rather than 8 which you would expect it to. the same problem carries over to the widget, at least the mini one (small square). it used to actually work, but now it only ever shows 12, 1, and 2am. it also doesn’t refresh very often, and while I understand the thought behind that (not draining your battery with constant updates), it’s kinda pointless to have if it isn’t showing me any accurate data at a glance, unless I happen to be checking the weather at midnight 🤦🏼♂️

Ist meine erste Bewertung jemals im AppStore. Also ich habe die Pro Version gekauft und ich liebe diese App, auch ist es toll, dass man in der Pro Version den Wetteranbieter ändern kann.
Das einzige Manko ist die Übersetzung:

Total enttäuscht. Kein Geld zurück.
Ich habe mich von den guten Bewertungen blenden lassen und (aus Versehen) gleich die lifetime Version gekauft. Leider entspricht die App überhaupt nicht meinen Erwartungen. Es gibt keine Wetter Benachrichtigungen. Das Wetter ist ungenau. Es ist mehr eine optische Wetter App. Leider bekomme ich über Apple das Geld auch nicht erstattet. Schade.

The medium widget shows 0% precipitation when it is actually 100%

Schönes Layout, dürftige Vorhersagen
Diese App kann man für einen Einmal-Preis kaufen oder abonnieren. Zwar bietet sie vier Wetterdienstleister, aber nur einer (Foreca) ist für Europa gut geeignet. Dann aber bekommt man nicht die 48-Stunden-Vorhersage. Insgesamt sind die Vorhersagedaten wenig genau. Der Anbieter hat sich nach meiner Rezension gemeldet und mir die Erstattung angeboten. Das nenne ich vorbildlich. Vielen Dank! Nachtrag: Nun habe ich die Lifetime-Option erneut gekauft. Entwickler unterstützen ist die Hauptmotivation und die Hoffnung, dass die App besser wird. Außerdem gibt’s ein schönes Layout.
Nachtrag April 2024: Das Wettermodell von Overdrop ist wirklich völlig ungeeignet für Europa. Auf Sardinien hat es 25 Grad und die App zeigt einen Maximalwert von 19 an. Besser Foreca verwenden, da stimmen die Werte meistens. Aber dann hat man keine 48 Stunden-Vorhersage, siehe oben. Besser gleich die Foreca-App nutzen.

Latest updates ruined the design.
To the devs, the old version where the graphics at the top of the screen filled the entire upper part of the screen are why I bought this app. Looked sooo much better that way, the recent update that made the weather graphics into a “card” instead, leaving a odd looking empty space around it, especially at the top of the screen looks terrible in comparison. Please go back to the previous design, or at least give us the option to do so.
Lowered rating to 2 stars due to widgets rarely updating, besides them running the look of the app, the widgets seem to update where they feel like it, sometimes 12 hours late, unacceptable for a paid app!!!
