Obviously this app shouldn’t need your email
You should 100% be able to use the app without an account or even an email. The latter should only be needed if you use the “shake to connect” feature, but you are still better off doing it manually the “normal” way. Either way you can be 1000% sure your personal data has been collected and sold, and say hello to even more spam. Use the “hide my email” iOS feature if you can.

Overland expo PNW
This was the best expo I have attended. Very organized. Everyone working the expo is very helpful and polite. The coolest thing is meeting other overlanders
No Map?!
You would think this app would include a map of the event and be able to pull up a vendor and show you where they are in the map.

More than I expected
I didn’t realize how involved the classes were and the convenience of camping near by was. Also the documentary movies were perfect in the evening.

I bought an event ticket, scanned the app download QR code in the information booth to navigate the event - only to find out that the app requires a multi-page account setup before giving access. Unreal.
Incredible that the expo organizers are so out of touch that they think it’s ok to ask for a heap of personal information before you’re able to use the app to navigate the event.

Where 2023?
App seems good but there is no info on Overland Expo 2023!!??
Having an app should allow you to purchase tickets, ask questions, discover vendors and explore the schedule. The event is only about a month away. Why is there only info about 2022?

Great place to answer all your questions on overlanding we took some corses and learned and met some great instructors!!!
Overland experience weekend
I attended primarily for the skills training, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’ve come away with a foundation of skill and knowledge that would otherwise need to be achieved through real life experience and even then there is a steep learning curve. While real life experience is still necessary, tapping the knowledge of those who are experts in the field is a springboard opportunity.
