Skeptical of onboarding
I selected « continue as Phone » when asked which account to use to connect and got asked for phone number verification without having used any of the app yet. Other options are to sign in use Google (recommended, but why?) or Apple. I wish there was a simple way to try out the app without commitment and without connecting to accounts or giving away my phone number.

Maybe in six months
Downloaded then deleted within five minutes. Got a sense of distrust. Personally, I prefer to know if the source feeding me info is vetted/legit. The app accessed my podcast library, and only 5 of 32 podcasts pulled into my Overlap Library, and are within their AI.

Thanks for the feedback! Privacy is extremely important to us. And we definitely look to vetted/legit sources for content. Hopefully if you try us again you'll feel very differently.
More humanities content please
This is a clever concept and interesting but the content is not tailored for humanities subjects, and the subjects even remotely related to humanities and liberal arts education is extremely skewed to the far political right (almost conspiracy theories). As an academic humanities scholar, I believe it is extremely important to present the public with content that engages with history, art, archaeology, literature, philosophy, the history of science, and modern languages. Humanities education is the saving grace of this world because it showcases different perspectives and I hope this app can work to develop more humanities content that expresses diverse opinions, cultures, academic discourses, and perspectives.

So cool, pretty buggy
This app is awesome. Cannot think of a better way to browse and listen to podcasts - one may not exist. But the bugs are frustrating. Sometimes clips won’t play, others they’ll play without sounds or the for you will freak out happened when multiple similar queries were done. But this app is genius.

What took them so long to develop this? Podcast usage will never be the sam…they find the best of the best, curated just for my interests!Bravo!!
