About

Overload is a strength training log that tells you what to lift next. Hit the top of your rep range on every set and the weight goes up. Fall short and you try again at the same weight. No spreadsheets, no guesswork. YOUR NEXT WEIGHT, WORKED OUT Give each exercise a rep range and a weight increment. Every session you climb the rep ladder, and when every set reaches the top of the range, Overload adds weight and resets your reps. EVERY SET JUDGED, LIKE A MEET Each set gets three lights: good set, short, or missed. You see at a glance what you earned today and what to aim for next time. FAST, FOCUSED LOGGING Log a set with one tap. Nudge the weight or reps with a tap and see exactly which plates to load. REST TIMER ON THE LOCK SCREEN The rest timer starts after every set and runs on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. Add 30 seconds, skip, or log your next set without opening the app (iOS 17 and later). NEW TO LIFTING, OR COMING BACK? Not sure what weight to start with? Overload finds it in your first session. Start light, tell it how each set felt, and it builds you up to a working weight. Coming back after time off? Enter what you used to lift and it starts you at a sensible weight. WHEN PROGRESS STALLS If a lift stops moving, Overload notices and gives you options: a lighter week, a variation of the lift, or a new rep range. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE - Trend charts for every lift and a wall of personal records - A body map showing which muscles got enough work this week - Strength standards for your sex and bodyweight - A training calendar and your bodyweight trend - A share image for every finished workout PROGRAMS AND YOUR OWN WORKOUTS Start a proven beginner or intermediate program, or build your own with ordered exercises, supersets and a weekly schedule. Run a program on its own, alongside another, or swap it out. TRAIN WITH FRIENDS Add friends, see their sessions, cheer them on, and compare on an opt-in leaderboard. ALSO INCLUDED - Keep logging when you lose signal: sets are saved on your phone and sync when you're back online - Pounds or kilograms, with your own plates and bars - Drop sets, per-set weights, and left/right sides for single-arm and single-leg lifts - Plate and one-rep-max calculators - Quick workouts for days off script - Import your history from Strong or Hevy - Finished workouts saved to Apple Health - A web app for logging, planning and reviewing on a bigger screen - Light and dark themes Hit your reps, earn more plates.
