Sports coverage not worth paying for
I subscribed so we could watch our son’s collegiate crew race that was only available on this service. The coverage was subpar, only showing 2 out of 6 boats most of the time. Commentary was not as good as free streams I’ve watched for high school championships (SRAA Nationals 2026 was free and top tier).
I provided feedback via a support ticket 2 weeks ago and never heard anything back.
Also used it today before my month subscription runs out to watch USRowing Youth Nationals time trials and they had a full screen of the commentators talking about random stuff while they had a tiny picture-in -picture of the actual rowing taking place. No overlays showing who is rowing or what the results are.
Event coordinators, please look at other options. You will disappoint your followers with this.

Poor quality streaming
Poor quality streaming with major gaps in coverage - you are better off watching replays on YouTube - will not refund you even when the entire event is missed
Poor User Quality
The app is very difficult to navigate as a user with slow loading times and glitches from time to time. The app also does not allow you to rewind something if it is on a live stream unless you go to on-demand and often times it still is not the full recap. Joke of a streaming service
Bad streaming
Have to pay to watch my sport and the stream is only live and can’t show anything from the past while it’s being streamed. I don’t know a single other streaming platform where you can’t go back in the stream while it’s live. Makes absolutely no sense.
Much improved flow
I really respect what these guys are trying to do. Seems like this update is a massive step in the right direction. Original app was terrible.

Can’t even watch one play in a game without it freezing, turning black, and not working. This app sucks and is not worth it, can’t watch anything without a premium membership but it doesn’t even work. Bs

This App is horrible and rarely works. Please hire someone who can make an App for Apple TV that doesn’t stick permanently on “buffering”.

App flows better than before. Lots of progress in the last year or so, love the way they cover Olympic sports!

Do not buy this app. Half the games they say they will be streaming don’t ever show up. Complete waste of money.

Charged more; could not unsubscribe, no response
I subscribed through the Apple App store. Through that, I saw contrasictory prices at $10/mo and $12/mo They charged the higher price.
The water polo matches were presented fine.
When I wanted to unsubscribe, I went to their website, logged in, and clicked Cancel Subscription. I got a red “Error canceling subscription” pop up. I got that on Safari and Firefox on multiple days. I clicked on “Contact” button which brought up an email to support[ at ] overnght.com. I described the issue and that I wanted to cancel and sent the mail on 23 May 2025. I have received no response (yes, I checked spam) by 29 May (today).
They charged my card another $12 today.
I did find that if I went in through my Apple Account, I could find the subscription and cancel it.

Possibly the worst UI/UX I’ve encountered

No sound on the app
The app does not play that games with sound. I can only get sound if I watch the games on the browser.
Worst audio and commentary
I had to pay 10$ a month to access water polo games that I couldn’t get audio on because there was no mute and unmute button in order to hear it. Also there was no display of any scores for games that were important live 1st vs 2nd place. Also, accessing the streams online might have been worse.
Super helpful customer service
I accidentally spelled my email wrong and they quickly corrected it after I reached out to customer service. App is super helpful and I was able to watch even while out of the country.
App doesn’t function for replays and billing after cancelled account
The app doesn’t allow replay of more than one quarter of event and app continues billing after I cancelled and elected app. My login no longer works and I am being billed and there is no help line. Really!
Broken UI
Scroll bar on phone from beginning to end doesn’t cover a quarter of the event. Tablet device timeline scroll has the same problems and is mapped to either phone dimensions or computer. This is hello world level UI basics - would recommend holding off on subscribing until this gets figured out.
Great to be able to watch Water Polo
App needs work. Can’t watch games full screen on iPad. When clicking on full screen icon, screen views in 1/4 screen and the only solution is to close app and reopen. Better to watch online until updated.
