About
Overperform is a football manager where you never watch the match. You pick the eleven, set the plan, sign the players — and then find out the score.
A career is measured one way: finish higher than anyone expected. The expectation comes from the club's wage bill, not from last season. A rich club survives easily and has nothing to prove; a poor one is the opposite — which is why choosing the club is already a decision.
WHAT YOU DECIDE
• The eleven and the shape. Every slot costs you points if the wrong player stands in it.
• Rotation. Freshness and condition fall with every match and every session, and a deep squad pays for itself in points — measured, not promised.
• The training week. What you work on and how hard you go: fast growth is paid for in legs and in the treatment room.
• Transfers. Scouts bring approximate valuations — a poor scout is further off. Talks are a haggle, and an insulting offer ends them for a week.
• The board. A season objective, a patience that runs out, and four things they judge you on: league, cup, finances, youth.
THE WORLD
• Three divisions, 54 clubs, promotion, relegation and play-offs.
• A cup across the whole pyramid: lower leagues start in qualifying, the top flight enters later. Everyone is in the draw.
• Knockout ties go to a hundred and twenty minutes and penalties.
• Every club has a past: the year it was founded, its honours, its recent years.
• The manager's office: budget, objective, promises, trophies and your record.
English and Russian. A season lasts exactly as long as you sit with it: no energy bars, no waiting for tomorrow.
