Lost my info

Used this for years, went to login on a new phone and they somehow lost my login (it was hooked up to Facebook and they stopped that option? But they can’t figure out how to recover my account) and customer service stopped responding to me. Super disappointing as it had many months of tracking ovulation, my whole pregnancy symptoms, etc. even more disappointing that they just stopped trying to help.

Really good App

This has been a really good app and I’ve only used it for a couple days now!

Disappointed and disgusted

My period was four days late and when I opened the app to log my period when it did come; the app shoved a “what to expect after an abortion” propaganda add in my face. What kind of disgusting algorithm is this company promoting?

Helped me get pregnant

I got pregnant using Ovia and gave birth to my twins. Very helpful!!

For the love of everyone with a thyroid condition

In the health condition section, please list some thyroid conditions. I have Hashimoto’s and because I was off meds for two years, it severely affected my cycle, since I’m back on meds it’s slowly getting better, but it still affects the cycles.

Love this app

I’ve been using this app since like 2018 and have continually loved it. I love how they keep it simple and easy to use and haven’t made any major/ unnecessary changes to the app in all the years i’ve used it. It’s reliable and consistent, and i love how it predicts the different stages in my cycle very accurately. It’s quite literally been my form of birth control all these years!

Love this app

I’ve used this app for years along with Ovia pregnancy and absolutely love it. So user friendly and love how it carries over to the other app.

Update

Absolutely hate the update

Hate the calendar

I am not trying to conceive or track my ovulation or any of that. I have selected via settings that I am in perimenopause/menopause and yet the stupid calendar is showing me when my ovulation time is. I’m not trying to have a baby so I really do not care. I wish the calendar let you make your own choices about what you want to track. Same thing with tracking discharge. During perimenopause it’s normal to have discharge mid-cycle as estrogen begins to lessen. I can’t track that on the calendar though - if you select discharge on the symptoms it assumes you’ve had a baby and are tracking discharge for that purpose alone. So frustrating. There are many reasons why we experience discharge and it’s important to track it - could be infection, changing cycle. Hate this stupid calendar so much.

The app itself is great

The app is great. I love it. However the women on the community page are ridiculous. I’ve used this app every pregnancy and this pregnancy I’ve had a lot of issues with rude community members. Just deleted the app and will be going with something else.

Not a fan of latest update

I downloaded so many pregnancy apps when I got pregnant, but Ovia is the one I’ve come to use most consistently. Unlike other major apps, which are an ad-filled, social media-esque, overstimulating mess, Ovia actually feels clean and clinical, and like it’s centered on YOUR health - not trying to sell you something. This is HUGE and I hope the devs never change this. The daily updates and calendar are so useful (actually shocking most pregnancy apps don’t have a calendar!), and the tracking functionality is by far the most robust. My biggest requests would be to add a dark mode and improve the community feature, which is currently just bizarre (polls only, no subforums/groups, random posts sent to your inbox and no way to hide old ones?). With a proper discussion forum supporting groups, this app would be an instant 5 stars.

EDIT: Lowering my rating because I hate the latest update so much. Ovia now pins their own daily posts to the top of your feed instead of displaying everything by time posted. This sucks because you have to scroll past the same content you’ve already seen AGAIN and AGAIN throughout the day just to get to your own entries (which IMO are most important). They also increased the padding of the visual elements in the symptom tracker so you have to scroll even more to find the right symptoms - both changes that actively worsen the UX. All these things (plus dark mode) should be display preferences! The lack of display settings we can customize is jarring!

Awful update

I’ve been tracking for years now without issues now cycle days are wrong none of my data is saved. It went from great to garbage real quick

Great, but could use some improvements!

Awesome App but No Widget

Love this app. it’s easy to use and accurate. I’d love to see a widget for the home screen though to remind me to fill out the calendar :(

Update

I just updated my app and lost all of my tracking data!!!

Offensive

I would give it five stars if it weren’t for the offensive language. Mothers are now called birthing persons and other such nonsense.

Almost great

I really like the simplicity of this app including the kick counter, calendar, weight, etc. trackers. The simplicity is a key feature that has brought me back for pregnancy tracking 3x.

However, it might be a little too simple because one of the things it doesn’t do is adapt developing conditions or insights from your med team. For instance, if I go to an appointment and the sonography reveals something like EFW - I should be able to add it. Instead, I get generalized ongoing EFW insights from the app that are way off - and can’t be personalized. Also, the special conditions list is insufficient IMO.

Not for mothers

As a mother of 3 I would like an app that supports pregnant moms not minimizes them to “birthing persons.” My baby is just that-a BABY. Not a just a zygote. Pregnant with a baby in my womb is so special that I’d like to have the right support system in every aspect of pregnancy.

Great app for tracking

Can’t recommend this app enough! I used it for about half a year for cycle tracking, then for a few months for my pregnancy, and then back to cycle tracking. Both sides of the app were great and it switched over from cycle tracking to pregnancy and back very easily. You can track so many symptoms and filter the content you want to see. On the pregnancy tracking part of the app it was great to see what size my baby was and keep track of those symptoms, get appointment reminders, and track milestones. Also, after my loss I got a very nice email from Ovia and for what it’s worth I thought that was very nice.

Calendar month is off for one month

Today I was checking my calendar in the app and I noticed that the month should be showing July instead of June. I hope the IT person could fix this problem soon…
