About

No scoreboard or can't see it, use OwnScore to distribute live score updates to other devices running OwnScore. Now everyone has their OwnScore board. OwnScore in caster mode broadcasts a game score to one or more OwnScores in viewer mode. OwnScore operates on the local WiFi network - it doesn't rely on a server on the internet to route score data. Depending on whether an automated test determines if the local WiFi network is full or partially compatible with OwnScore, OwnScore picks from several communication methods it supports to allow devices running OwnScore to communicate with each other. If the local WiFi network is found to be totally incompatible with OwnScore, it can use Bluetooth to still operate normally. All broadcasts of OwnScore are locked with a key distributed via a Key QR Code - only viewers with the key can view the broadcast. Locks can be copied by other casters, allowing viewers to be able to connect to games broadcast by multiple casters. OwnScore can also scan and save multiple Key QR Codes so it can access multiple groups of broadcasts.
