Good, but a few glitches
I’ve just started learning with this app. By and large it seems nice, and I’m thankful for the availability of such a resource. However, I have been having issues with certain things not displaying correctly. My issues are primarily with the reviews, where some questions ask me to choose the correct sentence related to a picture or to audio. In these exercises, I have four blank buttons and no image/audio — so I basically have a 25% chance of blindly passing an exercise.
I assume it’s because this app was developed some time ago and my phone is newer and has different screen dimensions.

Bug fixes
I think the update made it worse.
All for Nothing
I’ve left it all out there using this app. I loved it very much until I tried using what I’ve learned to fluent speakers of the old language. The Language is being preserved to an extent but understand that the “New Lakota” is not how they spoke before European contact. It’s obvious that even the language they are trying to preserve is heavily christian influenced. They proceed to teach without signifying the male and female way of speaking the language. It was embarrassing talking to an elder and he was like “What the heck are you saying”? I’m pretty sure someone hacked my account from their side because I keep getting errors so that I can’t login saying “try again wwwget” or something about “token handler”. What’s the point besides if you can’t even speak to an OG Native Vet from Pine Ridge after spending hours trying to learn a language that’s not preserving but creating a new language altogether that would be as foreign as the white man was to these Lakota’s ancestors 200 years ago. I went to a sweat lodge the other day and even the medicine man signified Jesus as the Creator. We’ve all been brainwashed and not only is it showing up in sacred ceremonies but also in trying to preserve the Lakota Language. “Wakȟáŋ tȟáŋka” to Sitting Bull should mean “What a freaking joke”. “Tókša akhé waŋčiyaŋkiŋ kte” to them means “I will see you again” but all you really need to say the old timer said was “Akhé uŋ wó.” I’ve reached out for help with The Login problems. Even creating a new account I had the same problem. So I’m leaving this review right here. The Lakota Language Consortium might as well be call The New Lakota Language Consortium. 🤦🏻♂️
