About

OXCALC is a professional oxygen planning tool designed to simplify complex calculations during aeromedical evacuation and flight operations. Developed by an RAF clinician and based on Royal Air Force (RAF) and United States Air Force (USAF) doctrine, OXCALC allows aircrew and medical personnel to quickly estimate patient oxygen demand, cylinder contents, oxygen system endurance, and mission supply requirements at altitude and offline. OXCALC 2.0 has been completely redesigned for larger and more complex missions. The app now supports larger volumes of patients and oxygen systems, improved scientific calculations, live oxygen depletion tracking, visual loadplan planning, and QR-based mission sync between devices. Whether used for training, simulation, operational preparation, or mission planning, OXCALC provides a fast, consistent, and transparent way to perform calculations that would otherwise require multiple reference tables and manual steps. Key features include: - Patient oxygen demand calculation - Cylinder and oxygen system analysis - Support for cylinders, NPTLOX, SAROS, and airframe oxygen - Live oxygen depletion tracking with global pause/resume - Inventory management for patients and oxygen supplies - Visual loadplan for placing and connecting patients to oxygen systems - Flight planning and cabin altitude tools - QR mission sync between devices - Built-in calculation references - Offline functionality Important Notice OXCALC is intended as a training, planning, and educational tool. It does not replace approved operational documentation, aircraft manuals, clinical judgment, or local procedures. Users are responsible for verifying calculations and following their organization’s guidance. Feedback & Support OXCALC is maintained independently. Feedback, bug reports, and feature requests are very welcome. If you find the app useful, you may optionally support its continued development through the support link.
