Oxford Emergency Medicine

5th edition

User reviews

Practical for work

I am an ED SAS doctor , and Sometimes I usually want the bottomline of the medical condition just to make sure I didn't miss anything without wasting my time searching. Online pdf version ,even though it is free from nhs libraries, it is not practical. The search ability is the main reason people will go for this. Other alternative going through intranet policies which you still want to do for very complicated cases. But this will solve 90% cases. I think it is overpriced though.

I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who will just take TEMPORARY ROTA. I would go for clinical medicine that is a master piece ,way more matured than any handbook I’ve ever used including this one.
