A subscription for walks?

Not free, requires ‚free trial‘ to see anything

I can’t find the cost

Why can’t I find the cost of this? And why not describe itself as a subscription app? I’m quite happy to pay for stuff but I would really like all the information first - even with a free trial period…..

Decent enough app but it won’t allow me to leave feedback

App NOT free

It might be a good app, don’t know I deleted it on first attempt to use.
I think it’s a little misleading that the app doesn’t identify itself as a subscription based product that requires you to subscribe and then cancel within the first month to get the free trial.
Totally accept app developers need to make money somehow, but having a free limited functionality product or Ad based offering before going to paid is far better. And not maybe accidentally misleading people into downloading a paid for app.

Was a must have for our visit to the Cotswolds!!

Cannot praise this app enough. We are from the states and visited the Cotswolds (Charlbury area) for a week last month. We were looking forward to doing day hikes. The first two days of hiking without this app (using maps and websites instead) was a collection of comedic backtracking, getting lost, asking directions and constantly feeling lost. The third day I downloaded Oxon apps and I cannot express the absolute 180 degree turnabout our walks took. There is no way we would possibly have been able to stay on trail without this app. It shows your position in relationship to the trail so that it is virtually impossible to get lost. The choice and number of trails provided in the app is large. My only regret is not downloading it the first day. I was offered a free trial of this app, which essentially covered the time period of our whole stay. I am keeping the subscription going past the trial, however, so I can give a *little* monetary payback to the developers

App NOT free! Subscription needed!

Another shocking attempt at trying to drain money from customers from a bang average app.

Don’t waste your money folks and just use all trails

Good paths, but lack of feature

Could do with simple features like checking off walks you completed

Good app but could use extra features

Overall I found this a useful way to find local walks that suit me and to stay on the right path when walking. It would be even better with (1) notable landmarks indicated on the maps and (2) more photos to show what there is to see

Simple to use

Easy to use and a good choice of walks. Would be nice to have a bit more background information on the walks perhaps with some details on things you will see

Another awful subscription model.

Another awful subscription model. Just sell the app properly. No sale here.

Map feature doesn’t work on iOS

Good potential here but I find that the plan directions to start using apple maps feature doesn’t work (iPhone X user with latest iOS) so I don’t actually know where to go to begin each walk. I also wish they’d just give you a link to google maps instead.

No books required

Very eager to try out this new discovery. I’ve never felt able to justify the cost of a dedicated GPS/ OS device but then find I spend typically £10/15 on walking books or maps whenever we go exploring a new county. This app has great potential, The walks are instantly available it looks simple to use and no more books or maps to lug around. Can’t wait to try my first walk.

Good, but shame about the lack of description

Overall, a very good app and easy to use. More detailed descriptions and some points of interest would be good as it can be difficult to find the path. Watch out for private land!

Excellent App

Beautiful walks and easy to follow

No free version.

Not many free walks, an app like this needs to give me a reason to subscribe to it , this unfortunately doesn’t

Pretty expensive download the OS map!

You can download the OS ordinance survey app for the same price and get access to much mire content
