The app is a wonderful tool to use to formulate OYA Hair color. It has 4 easy steps to take for formulation, stores the formula and even allowed you to customize a formula utilizing the notes section.
Must have as a Colorist
Absolutely love the redesigned NEW app! The new OYA Formulating feature makes creating colors so much easier. If your new to the line, double checking your thought process or using it as teaching tool 💯 So many great videos to watch, learn and share technique and product knowledge
New and improved
Very happy with the new app. I have the same color formulator as old app but this time I can save to each client and I love it! The look is also beautiful with better videos and features! A++

As a seasoned colorist, not helpful
App works just fine. The formulas it gives are my problem. The red/copper formulas are somewhat helpful. For grey coverage, you can't choose anything other than more than 50% grey or less than 50% grey. It would help to have hair texture options, as the same formula can take different to different textures. What would also be nice is to have custom color options. Like a 6-89. Overall, didn't make my life any easier.
