I love this app!!
I’m probably not using the app the way it was intended, but it has been running in the background on my phone for over a year and it is amazing to see all of the places that I’ve traveled. It seems like there hasn’t been any updates to this app in a long time. Thanks for the app, I would love to see you come out with some updates though.

New update!
I love this app, but now it’s starting to crash! I want to continue using this app, because i love to see where I’ve been.
What I need but at a steep price
The app gives me a map that works how I want, but it’s poll rate destroys my battery, id like there to be a way for me to change how often it grabs my location when I’m not constantly traveling to new places.
Can't add the pics

Cannot Login
I got a new iPhone 11 and am unable to login to my account. I was connected via Facebook, but if I try to log in with my FB or the email associated it either says “app still in development” or my account does not exist.
Very frustrating, as I had quite a lot of my road trips tracked on this app and am unable to access the trip history. 5 stars from me if the can fix this, otherwise, not worth the hassle even if I do lose all of my travel tracking info.

Good app. But has had issues
I’ve loved this app. My wife and I compete with what we clear on the map.
But recently some new earth I have cleared erased old data. I have the old data backed up in drop box. But it is incomplete. Is there a way to merge the data in drop box instead of over riding it?

Satellite Map can’t show
Hi is there an issue that satellite map can’t show correctly these days? I have facing this issue for quite a while, when I choose satellite map, it only shows some grey background.
Fun but buggy
I enjoy kind of seeing everywhere I’ve been, and actually just as much, seeing where I haven’t been in my hometown. So I enjoy that part.
Unfortunately, there are some issues, particularly recently, that need to be addressed. Recently I noticed that the app wasn’t loading very well, and in some areas it wasn’t loading the map at all. Then I came back today and the only area it’s letting me look at is Redding, CA, where I’ve never been. So I deleted the app and reinstalled to see if that would fix anything, and now it won’t even let me log in. Nothing happens when I click the “log in with Facebook” button. So that needs to be fixed immediately.
Some other minor issues are that there isn’t much explanation anywhere of different features, and the city that the app thinks I live in is nowhere close to where I live. But I mainly am just there for the map with the fog, and I really like that concept. I hope the developers can get the app fixed quickly.

Love the Idea, need help understanding how it works.
Would be great to know exactly how/why I am a level 50, and under what circumstances I gain XP.
Would be great to know how to start a new trip. It says 0 days on road, but I have been on the road many days.
It would be great to have more of a social side of this, see how you rank amongst friends.

It’s okay, and pretty, but it needs work
I like it. I want to use it. I want to fill up my map. My biggest complaint : You NEED to enable users to Edit their locations, or delete them if they are wrong - the current process you have set up for possibly deleting locations, doesn’t work well enough, and needs improvement.
Frankly, it’s getting the Names of Cities, Boroughs, and even Islands, wrong, some of the time. It’s getting others right some of the time too. From my personal use, it’s getting 6.4/10 correct, and getting the rest of the city names incorrect.
Your app utilizing data from Facebook and Instagram is a great idea, and is doing well, but at a “B-“ to “B+” kind of way, and THAT is being generous. The biggest complaint with this dilemma, is, Users like me, that know where I have personally traveled, know the names of the cities and places I’ve traveled, and The APP is guessing to the best most approximate city-location-Name it can, based off the data, without enabling us to correct the data, with the Correct Destination/Location City Names, or Island Names. And this is important to us Users, wanting to use this App, so we can show off to our friends and family and recommend your App to others.
Additionally, you need to Update a feature, that enables us to input our Past Travel Trips, better than what you already have, for those Users Of Us that have extensively traveled before using your APP, to enable us to level up our Travel Profiles to our current standing as of Today’s time. This keeps things fair, and makes us feel valued in our past Travel accomplishments, incentivizing us to travel even more and use the OysterApp More in Future Travels.

More cities
It’s an awesome idea and concept but I wish they had more places to choose from. I couldn’t find a lot of the cities I tried adding to places I have been. Also it recognized some places as incorrect such as when I sunk my instagram with it, it recognized the location of Chicago as Evanston, so if they added more of the cities and more precise locations. It would be incredible! Still love the app and idea!
