P is for Puzzles

This app is designed to help you improve your scores of this classic word game. There are two modes: "Third Party" and "Random". For "Third party", you use the app alongside the formal game. After you have entered the answer in the formal game, you input the same information into P is for Puzzles. Enter the word using the in-built keyboard. Enter the formal game's green and yellow by double tapping the letters--the color of the letter will rotate between green, yellow and white. Once you have entered the formal game's answer, press enter. The button on the right of each row will give you information to improve your game (see below). For "random", the P is for Puzzles app will choose a word and works like the classic application. During the game, the button on the right side of the rows tells you the number of remaining valid words. Green means one away. Yellow means it is possible to get to the answer in one or two attempts. Tapping the button shows the valid letter patterns and a list of valid words. The scores tab gives you the classic stats plus the NPPS--Net P is for Puzzles Score. This is the number of solves in less than 4 moves less number of attempts over 4 moves. The settings tab allows you to choose whether you need to provide a different starting word each time. Enjoy!
