Love. Please add save feature.
Great game . One of the best of its kind. The graphics and the gameplay are well balanced. I actually love this game. A save feature would be great so im not stuck playing the same two levels over and over before i lose my game. Cheers !!!! đ€©
Great game and amazing dev!
The core gameplay is fun and minimal. Itâs great!
The dev consistently listened to all of my feedback and added or adjusted features in each update. All my problems have been fixed.
â1.1.2 REVIEW (OUTDATED)â
I really like the addition of the scoring system, but it would be nice if there was a way to see our best score.
Otherwise Iâve noticed that I donât really care about my score because I donât know how it compares with my previous attempts.
The top score could be displayed on the starting screen before beginning a game and/or there could be a button on the starting screen to access a high-score list.
Either addition or both would be great.
â1.1.0 REVIEW (OUTDATED)â
Wow, another stellar update. The dev has addressed all of my issues with this game over the last few patches (making all upgrades from leveling up permanent, making score reset to checkpoint, adding labels like âprimaryâ and âsecondaryâ for different power up types, etc).
The game was fun before but with some flaws. Now it is amazing. Thank you for your hard work and receptiveness to feedback!
Changed my rating to 5 stars. Well deserved!
â1.0.9 REVIEW (OUTDATED)â
Amazing dev who listens to feedback and bugs and quickly addresses them. Thank you for making the Assistant permanent and for changing Barrier to a drop. Perfect changes.
[BUG]
Barrier actually can also still show up in the level up powers.
[FEEDBACK]
Now for some feedback on the new Score feature. Itâs really great to see this added, but there is an issue. Since the score doesnât reset when you die, the best strategy to get a high score is to keep dying.
To fix this just make it so the score resets to where it was at the last checkpoint (beginning of each level). For example, if your score was 500 at the start of level 2 but then you die during that level, when you respawn at the beginning of level 2 your score should go back down to 500.
This way you canât keep increasing your score by dying.
Thank you for your hard work adding new features and for fixing the fatal error bug so quickly!
â1.0.6 REVIEW (OUTDATED)â
However the upgrade system is confusing. It seems like there are 3 different types of upgrades but the game doesnât do a good job to distinguish them:
1. Temporary upgrades that last until death (barrier, assistant, etc)
2. Permanent upgrades that last until the end of the run (power, speed, health, etc)
3. Overriding upgrades that replace existing upgrades with something which may be better or worse (replacing primary weapon or secondary weapon with one of a different type)
1. First I want to address temporary upgrades... they are terrible. The reason is because every time you level up you have a chance to get an upgrade. But each level requires you to kill more ships. So when you take a temporary upgrade and die, you are still a higher level, but you lost that temporary power up that you spent your previous level up on. So essentially youâve just made it harder to get to your next power up without any lasting benefits.
2. For this reason, unless you are a really good player who can beat the whole game without dying, temporary power ups are a poor choice. You should only take permanent upgrades which carry over between deaths (speed, power, health, and your primary and secondary weapons of choice).
3. It needs to be clear what upgrades are primary weapons, what are secondary weapons, and what are neither. This way you can make sure you donât accidentally replace a primary or secondary weapon you like with something weaker.
âConclusionâ
A. Put a symbol next to each upgrade which corresponds to the type of upgrade. There needs to be a symbol for âPrimary Weaponâ, âSecondary Weaponâ, âStat Increaseâ, and âOther Power Upâ.
I know there are already symbols, but it should be explained what each of them mean. And also some of them donât distinguish between the categories I mentioned.
B. Make all upgrades permanent across death so that temporary upgrades arenât so bad. This especially helps with another problem that I have which is sometimes you get unlucky with upgrades and your ship canât kill anything in the second level. I had a run where I had no +Power upgrades and no primary weapon upgrades above level 1 strength. So I was stuck barely being able to kill anything which made it impossible to get enough to level up. My weapon couldnât even kill the 3 spike balls in the narrow tunnel parts of that level. If temporary weapons were permanent, there would be less chance that you get stuck with bad upgrades.

Great suggestions! I fixed it.
Difficult for the Wrong Reasons
The game is too difficult for the wrong reasons: the ship drifts left or right constantly, and even with speed upgrades, some collision deaths are unavoidable. (The upgrade select button is also the same as the strafe button, so if you level up during a shifting corridor sequence, you will most likely die as well.) You have to move the ship to shoot, rather than it firing automatically, and while you have infinite lives, your score resets each time you die, making the only real challenge a high score.
Still, it looks nice, and it has its fun moments, so I give it 2/5 Stars.

Really good
This is really a great game, and I canât wait to see if the developers can make something even better!
Shmupity Nuggetness
If only the AppStore was littered with gems like this, instead of Freemium dung, iOS would be a better place.
Love the game
I really like this game but Iâve had this issue in the rocky area (I think itâs the fourth area) where the game has an error called tile entity or something and it crashes and I have to restart. I think it has something to do with the laser primary as it has only happened to me while I was using it. Itâs happened like four times and itâs really annoying because it takes a long time to get all the way there and then the game crashes. I havenât gotten past it so I donât even know if thatâs the last level or not. Other than that great game five stars.

Iâm truly sorry for the inconvenience. I fixed it. Thank you for your support.
Great arcade action
Absolutely great game. Brings back memories of Galaga and Galaxian, although more modern and feature rich.
A few bugs Iâve found: Charging laser does not damage last boss.
The last boss will occasionally get stuck at the top of the screen, wonât attack, and wonât take damage, forcing me to restart the app.
Other than that, Iâve been enjoying this game immensely and canât praise it enough.

Great Game
Has a couple of bugs, but the developer is actively fixing them. Extremely fun and intuitive game.

Definitely one of the best games on the App Store
Very simple, but incredibly addictive, Perfect for anyone who wanted a simplified version of any space shooter.
Missing a little, needs scoring at least...
This game could be greatly improved with some kind of scoring system. But what is really needed is some sort of save feature, after you close the app, you have to start from the beginning.
Thank you very much for adding the scoring to the game and updating this game with save option too.

Good game but...
Only thing I wish you could save and GO Straight
Great game but so many crushes
You need to fix the crushing issue or it is not playable
Response from developer
Iâm sorry for the inconvenience. I fixed most of issues.
Broken..
Doesnât progress past the second boss..Iâve been fighting him for 5 straight minutes and nothings happening
Response from developer
I'm sorry to hear that. I tried to find an issue but couldn't find it. Could you give me more details via email ?
F**king Great
This is my exact style of game, i always loved space shooters, and retro games too. Combining them both into one game was my dream. I was kinda sad when i finished it tho bc like every good thing, i wish there was more of it.
I got error while i play
When i choose bounce ball lv 6?(i think it is) it show me a error message and turn off itself.

Good simple arcade classic
A tad buggy in the menu selection, and would be nice to see a full screen mode for XS, but generally a good retro shooter.
Love this game, however
I absolutely love the gameplay and the art style of this game. The music is also great.
Only issue is the lack of saving.
The game session saves at beginning of each level, but if you close the app you have to start over from the very beginning. This is a huge bummer, but Iâm sure itâs as designed.
Also, if you could add MFI support that would be so great. Excellent job! Keep animating!
