To many updates
So I love the persona games I think they are the best but with this game it’s nothing but download this content then you get past the download and play 10 or 15 minutes of gameplay then it says download this then it’s the same thing over and over again
A stunning game that doesn’t deserve the criticism
Let me start this review off like this:
I’m a chronically online, diehard Persona fan. I know I’m most certainly biased to the hundredth degree, but just hear me out.
With that said…
This game’s honestly undeserving of all the criticism. Sure, the pity system’s not the best, but the rewards are plentiful enough that you’ll be able to pull whoever you want. The devs bent over backwards when this game was criticized at launch to compensate all the players handsomely. You can even get outfits with standard pull currency. That’s unheard of. Sure, the devs want you to spend money on the game, but you can still be a F2P if you want. I am! You just won’t get everything all at once.
The game’s a worthy addition to the Persona franchise, and whenever I boot it up, it feels like a happy reunion in the Sea of Souls. That’s all I have to say. Thank you.

This game is great, it’s very enjoyable
The story is a little extended and stuff, but I still enjoy it, I’m big into gacha games so this is my cup of tea, the characters are cool, and I enjoy that there’s characters from not only P5, but P3 too, just waiting for the P4 collab now… great game!

about the miku update in particular
the rhythm game featured in the miku update is very bad as sometimes tapping a note doesn’t register even if i hit the note. i know the update isn’t staying forever but the fact that the minigame which is probably one of the central focuses in the event is very bad in terms of touch sensitivity annoys me as i really enjoy playing rhythm games most of the time! the absence of “bad” note hits is also kinda weird to me as instead of getting told that hitting it too early is bad i just get told i missed the note entirely even though the reason of it was because i tapped it too early and not because i didn’t tap it.
overall i think that the minigame needs to have the touch sensitivity fixed as its too finicky and sometimes doesn’t register taps/holds
in terms of the actual game i don’t play it too much as i just don’t think the persona gameplay works well in a game like this though thats just what i think

Bring back characters like “tempest Riko”, “Justine and Caroline” to balance the game, since Miku has broken the meta with godlike buffs

It is an amazing product! Not perfect, but it does its job well.
I have been playing this game for a while and I think that it is awesome. It is not to the same quality as major Persona titles, but it does not try to replace, but rather bring a similar experience a new story and game through a familiar environment. I think the gacha is okay, not the same quality as some other games, but most certainly better than genshin impact pulls. My only complaint I could even think about is how some resources can get annoying to obtain. And, how free time between missions confused me for a bit. But I liked it and I will continue playing it, at least until the devs make an offline version when the inevitable happens, or once Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 drops. Reason being: I took a break from the game for a couple of months playing Metaphor Refantazio, great work from the devs, and I am happy to see what the team is cooking because the Milu collab is fire. Sorry for it being long winded but I just wanted to get my thoughts out.
