When I reopened the app, it made me start the process from the beginning. Now it says the username is already taken, but I have no way to continue or access the account I was creating.

Hi Ekthegre8t! Thanks for letting us know—this was 100 % our bug. A glitch in v1.2 could freeze the sign-up screen before your username was saved, so you never reached the main experience. We’ve already released a hot-fix (v1.3) that eliminates the issue. How to get up and running: - Open the App Store and tap Updates (or search for our app) - Install v1.3 and relaunch - You should be authenticated right into the main experience. If you’re still stuck after updating, just email us at hello@getpacenote.com and we’ll jump on it right away. About the Photos permission: iOS shows the photo-access prompt because the app lets you add pictures to your profile later. We never look at or upload anything unless you explicitly choose a photo, and your library always remains private. We’re sorry for the rocky first impression and truly appreciate you flagging it—your feedback helped us patch this fast.
