Awesome App

This has been a great training app! Highly recommended

Apple Watch version!

Please make a version for Apple Watch! 😭 Would be 5 stars if that happens.

Solid app! Suggest changing the pacer approach.

I love the apps in this series - mainly because I get a beep (and verbal instruction) to run, another beep to walk, and a beep when I’m halfway and I should turn around. The 5K and 10K are my favourites.

For the ‘pacer’ apps, I struggle a bit. Other programs that use interval training will do short intervals, where you increase your RPE for each interval. (So maybe a 5 effort for your baseline run, then 6, 7, 8 and 9 for 4x intervals - simply stretch that out for 8x.) “Short” might be 30 seconds for the first few weeks, and build up to 2-3 minutes over the weeks. The last intervals might stay at 30 seconds so you can really go all out sprinting.

I’m also not running a 10K in 60 minutes yet - hence buying the pacer apps - so the 60-minute run is at best 9K + warm up and cool down. It feels a little gloomy to be so far outside the app’s expectations, but as a 40-year old woman, even achieving 62 minutes is apparently considered pretty good. I wonder if there could be different “long run” lengths, with a suggestion based on age and gender that the user can then accept or modify?

Great app

Use it all the time. Really great app. Had been experiencing weirdness but an iOS update sorted it out.

Super app

A super app I’ve used several times over the years to keep 10k pacer running interesting. Never get bored of it!

Best apps!!

I LOVE these apps!!! I couldn’t run to the fridge and back and am now doing the 10K pacer! Awesome!

I love all the Fitness22 apps

I’ve used several Fitness 22 apps and like all of them. The plans are very sensible and I’ve never had an injury following them. They are easy to use and work properly every time. Not glitches or issues. Super impressed and recommend them to all my friends and fellow runners.

Works!

Started with 10K Runner from 0 and now moving on to 10K Pacer!!! Buy them they work

Big improvement in pace!

This has given me an easy to follow framework for improving for 6 miles and I’ve really enjoyed it. Im running much faster than when I started!
I’m training for a hilly race and have added a hill repeat to my week. I wish there was a “hills” day as part of the app that I could check off. Otherwise, love it.

5K to 10K to this. All great

8 months ago I downloaded the 5K app as a non-runner. To quote Real Genius, I only ran “when chased.” After finishing that, I ran a 5K event, and then I decided to do the 10K app. After finishing that, I floundered for a couple weeks trying to increase my speed, so I downloaded this app. For all these apps, I love the guidance, and the slow steps taking me to a place where I can run farther faster.

Keep at it

I am a big fan of the C2 apps. I used it to get me to my first 5k and 10K races. Was happy with my times in my last 10K race, so using this to increase my speed before I move on to the half marathon. These apps work, just have to stick with it

Enabled me to go from a non runner to 10K runner

As a novice and running not my strength at all, I started with Couch to 5k app then progressed onto 5k-10K and now I am using the 10K pacer to increase my run pace.
These apps are fantastic at guiding you through from non runner to being able to run.
Whilst I’m still not fast and have questioned my ability if you follow the app it really does get you there.
Also helped me lose weight too

Great Programme, Inconsistent Notifications

I want to be clear: this app is mostly wonderful. The training programme works very well, and I am happy to pay to use it. I am on week six of eight, and feeling my pace increase is a joy.

However, this is a two star review because the app does not always notify me that the segment has changed. It doesn’t drop the ball often. It misses about a couple notifications per week. But, at its heart this application is a glorified collection of timers. It is pretty frustrating that it only succeeds in this 85% of the time.

Awesome easy to use app!

Improve your run times

A great app to improve your times without crippling you. Works well with iTunes to let you listen to your fav music & run.

Awesome!

This is my third app of this developer and it seemed a little odd to do this one at first, but it works.
As with the other ones they don't tell you exactly how fast you need to be, but they'll tell you to run slightly faster. It's absolutely awesome. I'm getting a great benefit out of this one.

Great app

I've used the 5k, 10K, and 21K and they are great at building up your training and fitness gradually

Another win for fitness22

This is my 4th app from fitness22. I started running less than a year ago. I went from couch to completing 2 half marathons in 7 months! This app is no different than the others--they know just how far to push before I quit.

It's fine

Only rating and reviewing in hopes of making the pop-up requests disappear.

Amazing!

I use this app year after year and it develops and grows me as a runner. I recommend it to everyone runner I know!
