Learning a ton
I’ve been using Packet Hunter for a bit and it’s actually helped me learn a lot about networking and packet analysis. Instead of just reading about concepts, you work through terminal-style labs and analyze packets to solve problems, which makes it way easier to understand how things actually work. The challenges can be tough sometimes, but that’s part of what makes it satisfying when you figure them out. It really feels like you’re learning real skills while playing. Definitely recommend it if you’re interested in cybersecurity or want a fun way to learn more about networking.

Cool idea but buggy
I dabbled with this game quite a bit on an old phone, when IOS 26 came out though I had to uninstall the game because you can’t get past level 2. You can’t minimize the keyboard to apply dns changes. I deleted the game in October of 25 and reinstalled in March of 26 and the issue still persists.
Fun game
Very fun game but please fix networking level 19. It’s broken.
Help desk
When are you guys planning to add more levels to the help desk?
Please Fix This 🙏
I loved what I have completed already in the app, this is an amazing app that genuinely does teach some networking skills, however the developer forgot to add the button that removes the number-pad when your finished with it and because of that, level 2 is impossible, please fix this Devs 🙏
Très intuitif
Je recommande si vous cherchez des mise en situation
Unusable
This app has great potential and is one of a kind as far as content goes. Unfortunately I uninstalled after only the second level as you can not minimize the keypad after changing the dns server address
Please help on level 10

Amazing but buggy
This would be my favorite app to ever release on the app store if it didn’t have so many bugs. This game teaches important IT skills however the state of the app currently is incredibly buggy and it makes it so frustrating to play. frequently i will get the right solution yet it will not allow me to continue. forcing me to restart the app and magically it will then allow me to continue. this had be banging my head into a wall on multiple occasions trying to figure out what i’m missing when it was the fault of the app and not my own logic. i love this app but please please please fix the bugs in relation to verifying if a user has successfully fulfilled the requirements. additionally i have reason to believe this game is heavily unoptimized due to it causing my phone to heat up past a normal point. this game is not graphically intensive therefore it should not be maxing out a iphone 15 pro cpu. please investigate into further optimization and verifying if a level has been completed

Response from developer
Hi! Thank you so much for playing and the feedback! I actually just released version 2.0.5 which removes a ton of bugs and increases performance. The phone does not get hot anymore - this was due to unnecessary animations on the home screen. Please let me know if you run into any issues! The app should be very stable now.
Amazing hands on learning
I am loving this app for what it reinforces. I hope one day we get a sequel to it for Security+, Linux+ and even A+!!!
Good idea, poor execution
Good: Easy to navigate and pretty straight forward on viewing and entering requires info to complete tasks. Good idea on teaching basic IT support skills.
Bad: The content is very out of date, port forwarding RDP, PPTP and other deprecated technologies that should never be used again. Not able to copy info from one screen to another just takes too much effort and not something you would do any where.
Final take: I feel the developer does not have good knowledge of the topics they are pushing in this app. Maybe consult someone that works in the industry for many years in an enterprise environment to see how things should be done.

IP Conflict Detected
I thought this game was telling me that I actually had an IP conflict. I was about to go into my firewall and see what the heck was going on. After a few seconds of confusion, I realized that the point of this game was to fix those issues and had a good laugh after that. Thank you for making my morning!

Good hands on practice
App is pretty cool so far. It’s nice to have hands on labs to make sure I feel a little more confident for my CCNA exam.
Great game!
Beat all the levels! Really cool interface and terminal
