What's New in PacketGlide

2.0.0

October 25, 2026

Six zones now. NEW • The Uplink: a new zone in front of the Backbone. Plain racks at double speed, spaced out so you can still make the gaps. • New zone order: the Cooling Deck and the Firewall Perimeter come before the Core Switch. RETUNED • Every tier plays under new rules, with tighter gaps and more hazards as the zones go on. • The leaderboards start fresh for this version. Your old bests are kept and shown as previous bests. ALSO • How to Play is eight pages, with a diagram on each. • Settings has a Send feedback form. It opens Mail with your note. • After a new best, the game may ask you for a rating. Nothing has changed about the controls. One tap, and everything else is timing.

How do I play PacketGlide?

The controls are simple: tap the screen to boost your flight path and release to descend. Success relies on mastering timing to avoid hazards like scanner beams and firewall ports, and collecting items to increase your score multiplier.

Does PacketGlide have ads?

No, PacketGlide is ad-free. The game description explicitly states 'No ads. No timers. No energy. Just the racks.'

Can I play PacketGlide offline?

The provided data does not specify offline play capabilities. However, features like daily circuits and leaderboards suggest an online connection may be required for full functionality.

What are the different zones in PacketGlide?

PacketGlide features five distinct zones: The Edge Racks for learning controls, the Core Switch with patrolling scanners, the Cooling Deck affected by air currents, the Firewall zone with closing ports, and the fast-paced Backbone.

What kind of power-ups are available in PacketGlide?

Power-ups found in sockets include Surge to double points, Open to widen the next three gates, Clear to remove all obstacles for three seconds, and Shield to absorb one hit.

How does the scoring system work in PacketGlide?

Every Bit and dock collected increases your score multiplier up to x4. Skipping these resets the multiplier. Close-call points can be earned by skimming rack edges.
