The app I made because my packing list was a Notes file
Every trip I'd rewrite the same Notes file, and every trip I'd still forget something. Usually not the passport — the boring stuff. The adapter that turns out to be the wrong shape. The cable that lives behind my desk. The thing I only remember at the airport.
So the checklist came first, and it knows where you're going: plug types, what the weather's actually going to be, what people forget for that country. You tick things off, or mark them "don't need" — because half a packing list never applies to you.
Then the trip starts and the app doesn't stop being useful. Paste a travel guide you found — a screenshot, a link, a wall of text — and it pulls out the places and turns them into somewhere you can check into. The spots you saved sit on a map. The ones you visited stop being a plan and start being a record.
And afterwards there's the part I didn't expect to care about: the photos, the notes, the voice memos you recorded on a train — they end up in one place instead of scattered across three apps.
Before, during, after. That's the whole idea.
