Where a source isn't available, Paddle Routes says so rather than showing an all-clear. TELL SOMEONE YOUR PLAN Arm a float plan before you launch, choose your safety contacts and set an expected finish time. If you miss it, they can be notified once the grace period passes. Or share a private Beacon link so someone ashore can see your latest reported position and how recently it updated. Paddle Routes supports preparation and communication. It is not a monitored emergency service, and it cannot tell you whether the water is safe to paddle.
