About
Great books, read aloud — with the illustrations synced to the audio.
Paideia Collection is a growing library of enduring literature: the histories, nature studies, myths, and stories that formed generations of readers. Each title is recorded in full and paired with the artwork from its original edition.
OUR MISSION
The Paideia Collection exists to bless families with the living books that have shaped the foundations of the Western canon, carrying forward the oral tradition of old. In an age when many of these rich titles are difficult to find — and some on the verge of being lost — our mission is to preserve them and make them accessible once again.
Paideia was the ancient Greek word for the formation of a whole person — mind, heart, and character — through immersion in a living inheritance passed from one generation to the next. It understood what modern schooling often forgets: children are not vessels to be filled, but souls to be formed.
ILLUSTRATED LISTENING
As the narration moves, the plates from the printed book appear in time with it — Penn's Treaty as the story reaches Pennsylvania, a kingfisher as Arabella Buckley describes the riverbank. Not stock imagery. The engravings and paintings the author's first readers saw.
A LIBRARY WORTH KEEPING
Charlotte Mason's Home Education series. M. B. Synge's Story of the World. Henrietta Marshall's Our Island Story. H. A. Guerber's histories. Arabella Buckley's nature studies. The Federalist Papers. Stories that order the affections toward wonder, beauty, and courage — because what we love is shaped long before we can explain why.
BUILT FOR A HOUSEHOLD
Give each member of the family their own profile, with their own place in every book. Grown-ups can guide what each child reaches, and see what everyone is reading. A four-digit code keeps the grown-up area to the grown-ups.
THE COMMONPLACE BOOK
Keep the passages worth keeping. Save a quote as you listen, with the book, chapter, and moment already attached — the old practice of the commonplace book, carried into the app.
MADE FOR REAL LISTENING

We are a storied people. Join families who are raising their children with knights, sea captains, heroes, and saints — through the timeless power of great stories, told beautifully.
