About
Figure out how much paint a room needs, then what it costs.
Enter the perimeter and ceiling height, or measure wall by wall. Subtract the windows and doors so you are not buying paint for glass. Add the ceiling and the trim when the job includes them.
WHAT YOU GET
• Paintable area after openings, broken down so you can check the arithmetic
• Gallons or liters, rounded up to real can sizes
• Cost from your own price per can
• One, two or three coats, plus a separate primer layer
• Imperial or metric, switched in Settings
• Prices in rubles, euros, pounds and five more, picked from your region
FOR PAINTERS
• Save rooms and group them into a project
• Roll a whole house up into one total
• Share one paint order across rooms
• Export a quote with your business name on it
• Labor cost from your own rate per square foot
COVERAGE PRESETS
Latex, oil and primer spread rates are editable. Add the brands you actually buy, then apply one in a tap.
HOW MUCH PAINT FOR A ROOM
A 12 by 15 foot room with an 8 foot ceiling has about 432 square feet of wall before you take anything off. Two coats of a latex that covers 400 square feet per gallon is roughly 2.2 gallons, so three 1 gallon cans. The app does that arithmetic with your openings, your coverage rate and your can price, in square meters if you prefer.
PERIMETER OR WALL BY WALL
Measure the perimeter when the room is a plain rectangle. Switch to per wall when it is not, and add as many walls as the room has. A short wall, an alcove or a partial wall goes in with the height you actually measured.
REPEAT OPENINGS
Windows, doors and openings you name yourself. Set the count once and reuse it, so eight identical windows are one entry instead of eight.
TRIM AND BASEBOARD
Baseboard, door casing and window casing are calculated from run length and width, at their own coverage rate. Trim paint is not wall paint and rarely costs the same.
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR
Nothing in the math is indoor only. Enter the spread rate your masonry or exterior paint states on the can and the same calculation holds.
FOR A PAINTING CONTRACTOR PRICING A JOB
Save each room, group them into a project, and read one total for the house. Add your labor rate per square foot and the quote carries materials and labor together.
FREE AND PRO
Every calculation is free and there are no ads. The free tier saves five rooms. Pro removes that limit and unlocks multi-room projects, quote export and brand presets.
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can cancel in App Store settings.

Rubles. The app now ships a ruble option, and a fresh install picks its currency from the device region instead of always starting on dollars. The currency list is translated: it used to read "US Dollar" and "Euro" in every language. Wording tidied across both languages.
