User reviews

Great tool

Easy to use app

Response from developer

Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re glad you found Paint Color Visualizer easy to use and helpful.

Options

I like this app; it works easily and accurately. One suggestion would be to be able to zoom in or enlarge the pic. Thank you!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the 5-star review. I’m glad to hear the app has been easy to use and accurate for you. That’s a great suggestion. Zooming in or enlarging the photo would definitely make it easier to work on smaller details, and I appreciate you taking the time to mention it. I’ve added it to my list for future improvements. Thanks again for your support.

Easy to use

Gives a good idea of what house would look like with very little effort

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the 5-star review. We’re glad the app made it easy to see how different paint colors could look on your house without a lot of time or effort. That quick before-you-paint preview is exactly what we designed it for, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Not good

As a test, take a photo of a room where you know the color. Have the app paint the same color on another wall or the ceiling. Do the colors match? No. Not even close. So what is the point of this app?

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The app has improved significantly since this review, especially in color accuracy, overall usability, and feature depth. Please update to the latest version and try the same test again. The current version delivers much closer paint rendering than the version used for this review, and the workflow is much more user friendly as well. If the updated version is closer to what you expected, we’d appreciate it if you would consider updating your review.

Wasted money

Does not work for exterior. Wasted money. Would give zero stars if possible

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The app has improved significantly since this review, including new settings specifically for Exterior visualizations. Please email me at [v5cqpsj4e3u4@opayq.com](mailto:v5cqpsj4e3u4@opayq.com) and I’ll provide additional complimentary credits so you can try the newer version properly. Once you update the app and test the Exterior mode again, it should give you a much better result than the version used for this review. If the updated version works better for you, we’d appreciate it if you would consider updating your review.

FAQ

What does the Paint Color Visualizer app do?

This app allows you to virtually test interior and exterior paint colors on your home before you commit to painting. You can upload a photo of your space or take a new one, select surfaces to paint, and then apply thousands of real paint colors from major brands to see how they look.

How do I use the paint visualizer?

First, take a photo of your room or home exterior, or select one from your library. Then, choose whether you're painting the interior or exterior, and select the specific surfaces you want to color. Finally, browse through thousands of real paint colors from various brands and assign them to each surface to see the transformation.

Is the app free to use?

The app offers one free visualization to start. Additional visualizations require purchasing credits. You can buy credit packages as needed, with savings available for larger purchases. There are no required subscriptions.

What devices is Paint Color Visualizer compatible with?

The provided description does not specify exact compatibility details. However, as a mobile application, it is designed to run on smartphones and tablets that support its operating system (likely iOS and Android).

Can I test colors from different brands at once?
