About
Remember the paint on each surface—not just a color name.
Paint Layer Passport keeps a separate history for each wall, trim, ceiling, door or other surface. Retrieve the current recorded finish, inspect earlier layers and track partial touch-ups without confusing them with a full repaint.
EXACT LABELS, THROUGH TIME
Record brand, product, color name or code, finish and batch literally. Attach an original label photo and zoom in when you need it. Earlier layers keep their recorded label even when you later correct a can’s label.
ONE RECORD PER PHYSICAL CAN
Keep same-code cans separate. Record each can’s storage location, approximate remaining amount and availability. Empty or archived cans remain linked to their historical layers. Recording work never deducts an invented quantity.
A READABLE HANDOVER
Preview a room or selected-property PDF. Choose whether to include history, touch-ups, photos, notes, leftover cans, storage locations and an optional property name. Share or print using iOS controls.
PRIVATE, PORTABLE RECORDS
Core records and PDFs work on your device. Export a complete private backup, review incoming records and choose merge, skip or copy when importing. No account, ads, analytics, subscription or in-app purchase.
A fictional living-room sample is available to explore: 2023 trim, its 2026 top coat, two separate walls and same-code cans from different batches. Remove untouched sample records when ready.
One paid download includes all features. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Photos are references, not calibrated color matching. Recorded paint identity does not guarantee aged paint is usable or will match. Keep private backups before replacing or deleting the app. Website links and cloud-based Files providers may need an internet connection.
