LIDAR is cool, but calculations are wildly wrong!
I thought this would be a really cool app to check out because it has the LiDAR measuring capability. It turns out the LiDAR seems to work pretty well, but the conversion factor of square feet to gallons of paint is amazingly wrong. My room says it has 532 ft.² of wall and the paint coverage is approximately 350 ft.² per gallon. If I put that in to this app, it says I need 0.4 gallons (much less than I actually need) because it’s using the wrong math for the conversion, I’d love it if the developer would fix this.
