Pairs Of Squares

Pairs of colored squares slide across the middle of the screen, and one color is called at the top. Every pair of that color has to be shot between - through the gap, without touching either square. The ball takes half a second to get there. That is the whole problem: you are aiming at where the gap is going to be, not where it is. FOUR WAYS TO LOSE • Clip a square with the ball • Miss the gap entirely • Shoot through a pair of the wrong color • Let a pair of the called color leave the screen unshot Any one of them ends the run. There are no lives, no continues, no second chances. WHY IT DOESN'T GET EASIER Pairs cross at two slightly different speeds, and you have to read which is which on sight - one lead works, the other doesn't. The called color changes only when you succeed, so the moment you settle into a rhythm is the moment the target moves. Stop paying attention for one second and a pair is already gone.
