Cant save progress
Love the game but it keeps restarting without saving my progress.
It would be better
After giving my daughter this game when she was four she loved it a lot until she stoped playing and asked for something else, the reason why was she said it was boring after awhile, and something more fun needed to be added

memories ruined:(
i started the game and had sound and it played great but all of a sudden it just stopped working:( no sound and i couldn’t reach the ores no matter how far i swung.

The most nostalgic game
I played this as a kid. And I still play it. It’s funny, colorful, and cozy. The soundtrack is unforgettable. A great game to play when I want to take a trip down “memory lane.” Thank you, Pajama Sam, for all the years of fun and adventure. May the game carry on its legacy.

Can't use items at all?

I haven’t been able to continue the game sir to the items not being an option to use which I need to continue the game so if that’s gets fixed we’ll be good

Good game, no sound
Game pay is great, it’s easy and fun and brings back tons of memories. Problem is, NO VALUME. I bought this game months ago, thinking this would be a quick patch, but still NO VALUME!!!
New update is a scam- steals old working game and replaced it with broken one
The Humongous games mean everything to me. I want to support them. However, this game is completely unplayable with the new engine. It's upsetting that I purchased one product that was reliable to one day wake up to a completely new product.
This wasn't just an update, it's essentially an entirely new app running on something that doesn't work. I wish I could get my money back since I had my old product basically stolen from me through the update. The same thing is happening to ALL the apps that have recieved this 'update' (app switching)
Game crashes around every 10 clicks on iPad Pro-- you will be unable to click anything. Sometimes it fixes itself when you exit and return to the app, but most of the time it doesn't. You have to save often and reload if you want to progress at all since when you close the game it does not save your current stage (unlike in the old version)
Frustrates the heck out of my toddler, who I'm trying to introduce to my childhood games.
Here's what you should all do instead of buying this:
Extract the .HE0, .HE1, .HE3 and .HE4 files from your old Humongous CD Roms on your computer, transfer them onto your iPad on properly named folders. (I.E. the HE0,HE1,HE3,HE4 you extracted from Putt Putt Travels Through Time, you put in it's own folder titled ike the game) Then install ScummVM's iPad and import your games that way.

Arrow problem
I am having a little issue with pajama Sam no need to hide when it’s dark outside there are times once I a while where there comes a point where the arrow of the game can’t move and I can’t tap and it is making me start the game over again
I am a huge fan of pajama Sam I love these games so much and I hope the issues with pajama Sam 1 and pajama Sam 3

The update ruined the game. Please make it full screen again!

I previously wrote a review expressing disappointment with the new display that had large save, quit, and skip buttons and I would like to rescind that review. I’m not sure if it was fixed or I just missed that detail about changing it. Regardless, thank you once again Humongous and keep doing what you’re doing:)

New update stinks! Please change back!
Thoroughly have enjoyed reliving my childhood with the entire Pajama Sam series here on the App Store and sharing it with my nieces and nephews. But this latest update has completely ruined the experience with the smaller window and obnoxious save, load and skip buttons that take up way too much screen space and shrink the actual game play screen. You all had it perfect before and now it feels like it’s ruined. Please revert back to the original gameplay setup!

New update ruins game
The new update makes it so it shows the game in a small window with wide borders that say skip, save, or load.
Almost half the screen is taken up by buttons I don’t need to use.
In its current form this game is unplayable for me and I will try again in a few weeks hoping for some fix to this
