About
Palestine Journal gives you direct access to the lived experiences, perspectives, and everyday realities of Palestinians across the world.
From the West Bank, Jerusalem, Gaza to Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and the global diaspora, every community has a unique story. This app brings those voices together in one accessible place.
Why Palestine Journal?
• Authentic voices: Most commentary about Palestine is written about Palestinians, not by them. Palestine Journal shifts the focus back to the people who live these realities daily.
• Important questions: Explore thoughtful, meaningful questions that reveal how Palestinians see their identity, history, daily life, hopes, and challenges.
• Side-by-side perspectives: Compare how Palestinians in different regions respond to the same questions — showing nuance, diversity, and shared human experiences.
• Community-based: The app welcomes submissions from Palestinians everywhere, helping expand and deepen the collection of perspectives, stories, and creative expressions.
• Art, poetry, and music: Discover creative expressions from the region, offering cultural depth beyond news and headlines.
• Anthropological insight: Designed for students, researchers, educators, journalists, and anyone seeking a deeper, human-centred understanding.
• A charitable mission: One-third of all profits are donated to our partner charity supporting communities on the ground.
• For everyone: Whether you know the region well or are learning for the first time, the app promotes understanding, empathy, and informed engagement.
