Wow! Great App & Does not collect data!

Thank you to the developer for creating this really fantastic app! More importantly, thank you for not tracking my data as this is nearly impossible to find in the App Store!

It’s been very helpful to design rooms prior to decorating them. The functionality of the app has really intuitive & I have zero complaints, keep in mind this app is FREE!

Great app - thoroughly enjoying it :)

Awesome, just a few holes in the app.

I was trying to design an ensuite, and I went to “bathroom”. There was no toilet. I looked everywhere, but there was no toilet. Please give me a toilet guys.

Easy to use

This app is very easy to use and understandable, I love to create my own designs and this app has helped me create lots of unique ideas, HOWEVER, There is some problems with the have that has come to my attention, in my tablet I have little to no features to use while on my iPhone I have a lot of features to use EXPECT the ones the I have in my tablet. I don’t quite understand why some features are missing and I really would love for new features/ objects to be brought into the app.

I just upgraded to the $79.99 yearly app and its no different the the free app. SMH

Nothing changed in the app as far as features the free app is the same as the business app.

Excellent app!

Everything in the app is easy to understand and easy to manipulate. If I could only ask one thing would be when designing a bathroom you can access all bathroom furnishings (i.e. toilet, cabinets, shower) but when designing a bedroom that has a bathroom in it you can’t.

Best i have tried

I have tried out a few apps for bathroom design and this is the easiest i have found… maybe more size adjustability on the furnishings would be handy but always a work around.

THE NERVE OF PEOPLE WHEN SOMETHINGS FREE

I can’t believe the culture todays world. I was looking for an app to re-design my laundry room. Looked over many apps comments and difficulties seem to be pretty common. This developer actually fixes the difficulties that consumers have. what I have a hard time with is the consumers that download apps for free and have nothing but complaints! Any apps offer FREE TRIAS that expire and require a payment. This app developer downs do that and from the comments from the disgruntled consumers you would think they ruined your life! Giving 1 star because your iPad won’t change orientation…. GET REAL! I’ve looked over no less than 15 of these type apps and this one has the best consumer support! The world we live in today has mostly given people a sense of entitlement that has nothing to do with race. You read or view the news and all you see is people jumping on the race bandwagon for anything and everything. We have forgotten what life is actually about with humility. These people need to be humbled by the fact that they live in a world that is mainly free of public atrocities. I’m sure there are things that go on that would probably shock me, I served my country and can tell you that this world was much worse in the 17-1800 eras. I lost my point of it all back on the subject…. This app is easily used if you take baby steps in the beginning. I’ll update my review after I complete my first project

Great app to use for clients without Graduate CAD required

This is a really great app to make architectural worthy floor plans for my interior design clients. Didn’t take much time, less than an hour, to figure it out & I am 30 years out of design school. I feel quite stupid though as I cannot find a bathtub nor can I find out how to resize doors & windows. It is probably there but I am tired and frustrated, and need to stop… but it really is superb and glad I found it.

Thank you so much for your review. If you can't find bathtubs, you are probably using the "living" or "stove" profile/catalog. You can switch profiles in the options menu. But please note, that every profile only sees the scenes that where saved with the same profile. So you won't be able to load a living room, when using the bath profile/catalog. But you can switch back at any time. We know this is annoying and we will change this in a future update. Also, you can resize doors, windows and furniture by double tapping on the object. But please note, there are quite a lot of objects that have the resizing feature deactivated, to prevent users from using unrealistic sizes. Did this help?

Alte Bibliothek und nervige Werbung

Die Planung mit der App macht Spaß und ist einfach. Allerdings ist die Produktbibliothek etwas in die Jahre gekommen. So richtet heute keine mehr sein Badezimmer an. Nervig sind vor allem die ständigen Video Ads, die zwischen dem Umschalten angezeigt werden. Das bringt weder dem Werbetreibenden etwas (#MarketingBudgetverbrennen) noch dem User. Überlegt euch ein ordentliches Premium Monetarisierungsmodell! Mehr und vor allem neue 3D Modelle, modernere Fliesen, keine Werbung! Fühlt sich eher an als ob hier ein altes Produkt gemolken wird, anstatt kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Macht mich als PM richtig traurig…

Guten Tag. Danke für ihre Rezension. Wir haben bereits ein premium Monetarisierungsmodell überlegt. Sie können zwischen einem kleinen, mittleren und einem großen Abo wählen. Alle 3 Abo Stufen gibt es als monatliche oder jährliche Abos. Und alle Abos deaktivieren die Werbung. Das kleine Abo kostet nur 0.99€ pro Monat. Die App wird auch kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und verbessert, was man unschwer an der Update Historie einsehen kann. Auch wird es in naher Zukunft ein großes Update bei den Sanitärkatalogen geben.

No Longer Works on IPhone 12 Max

I loved this app to help design my home, however with the recent upgrade this no longer works on the IPhone 12 Max. Really gutted.

The app has zoomed in so you’re unable to work it as you can’t click on menu’s, objects or recent projects. I’m unable to send a screen shot.

Wow!

Als Kostenlos-App bereits super! Und im Gegensatz zu diversen anderen, derartigen Apps ist das Ding absolut „Hinrkompatibel“, es funktioniert so wie man es erwartet. Ich habe dann auch gleich das Miniabo für 99ct/Monat abgeschlossen um hier ein bisschen „zurückzugeben“

Jetzt noch ein bisschen konstruktive Kritik:
Warum ist die Skalierung der Objekte oft eingeschränkt? Wenn man einen simplen Tisch nicht auf unter 1,2 m oder über 2 m skalieren kann ist das etwas lästig. Ich habe aus den Tischen diverse Winkelkombinationen mit eigenwilligen Maßen gebaut, da musste ich die Kollisionserkennung ausschalten und die Dinger ineinanderschieben um auf die benötigten Maße zu kommen. Auch Schränke sind oft größer oder kleiner als es die Einstellungen erlauben.

Eingabe von Maßwerten: eine numerische Eingabemöglichkeit zusätzlich wäre ein Traum! Mit dem Stift auf dem iPad geht das so leidlich, aber mit meinen Fingern….

Die „Verriegelung“ der Wandmaße funktioniert bei mir nicht.

Jetzt die Kür:
Kombinieren von Objekten, um diese dann gemeinsam verschieben oder kopieren zu können. Dann könnte man sich aus den generischen Objekten coole Möbelstücke bauen. (Und wenn man die dann noch in einen eigenen Katalog packen kann!)

Heizkörper sitzen bei mir in einer Nische unter dem Fenster - für die Optik wäre das super.

Und zu guter letzt: Kann mal jemand die Katze füttern? Die ist arg dürr. ;-)))

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, eine solch umfangreiche Rezension zu schreiben. Einige Sachen haben wir schon für weitere Updates geplant. Was funktioniert bei Ihnen beim Fixieren der Wände nicht? Auf unseren Testgeräten funktioniert es wie gewünscht. Ja, da haben Sie recht, die Katze könnte auch mal ein Update gebrauchen... :-)

Good but frustrating

I first set up a room on my iPhone, then decided to use my iPad do the bigger screen, but I can’t access my saved room? How do you use the cloud option - there are no instructions it just asks you for a login that I don’t have? Would love to be able to access all my saved rooms from both devices, and also have the option to move furniture already sized in one room into another without having to redraw it. What am I doing wrong?

Fantastic App

We are designing our new family room addition, and have downloaded MANY design apps for this project. We’ve discovered that Palette Home, by far, is the easiest and most intuitive app out there! Super easy to make changes, and because of that, the whole process is fun! And, because it includes a nice amount of furnishings and interior fittings to choose from, our 3D view is very close to our vision for this room. I would say that the ability to pop in easily-sized windows and doors is just one of the best features of Palette home.

Our family room design has been a long, frustrating process until we discovered Palette Home. Congratulations to the developers for this fine designing app!

Perfect

This app is exactly what I was looking for - I'm remodeling my room and am so excited to design and see if all my pieces fit, but I'm still painting! This app let me put all my pieces in with accurate dimensions and placement. I was able to put the measurements of windows and doors perfectly. Also their little details with photos, laptops, plants and small decorative items was perfect. Glad I found this!
PS This would be a great CAD program for Interior Design students who don't have programs for school bc they can't go in due to the pandemic - teaches a lot about dimensioning, CAD software interface, as well as interior design. 👍🏼

I’m in the US and the metric/feet drama is silly - this app is fantastic and free! I just google search for a metric to feet conversion (fine with me until the app is updated.). Doesn’t deserve all the poor ratings......

Only bummer is...this is room design - I wish they had one for building houses - this app would be perfect to make a floor plan, 3D view, walkthrough, side views, etc. but alas it is not to be. Maybe some day.... (all the other apps just want money money money. At least just $5 or $10 one time...fine. But subscriptions? $100 a year for an app? HahahahahahahaNope! )

Giving this 5 stars just for being great (and free!)

Hi, thanks for the great review. We will be introducing yards, feet and inches in the next update which will most likely be released in the first week of February. We spend a lot of time and effort on this app, so although we also want to offer as much as possible for free, we do have to somehow earn a little money with it. That ist why we will also be introducing in-app purchases in the next update. Everything you see in the app now though will remain free to use. We see the in-app purchases more as a way for people to "donate" a bit of money to keep the development going. You will be able to cancel the subscription on a monthly basis. Thanks again for the great review.
