I fully hear you on pricing, and it's something I thought carefully about when trying to make it as accessible as possible. It is a bit more than what you'll find elsewhere (I've seen annual plans ranging from $7 to $60 across the App Store). Most of that price is data. Every package you add gets registered with paid carrier feeds and refreshed until it's delivered (that's what makes signature alerts and rapid updates possible) and USPS rates have gone up on top of that. Every app in this category is working against the same costs, and most handle it by capping how many USPS packages you can track each month, or by dropping USPS altogether. I'd rather absorb those costs than put carrier specific limits, so Pallet has no limits. I did want to make the free experience usable for most people, which is why I lifted the lifetime tracking limit and changed it to one active package at a time. On top of that, Amazon tracking is fully unlimited. It doesn't cost me anything, so it didn't feel right to charge for it. Hopefully that's a useful peek behind the curtain.
