Solid app

For a public library app, it does everything I need it to do. I just wish there were more audio books but it’s understandable being that everything is pretty much free.

Cannot connect to server

Was using this app fine for the last 2 years but it keeps saying cannot c onnect to server. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times. Hope it can be fixed soon.

Will not connect to server

I’ve used this app for over a year. Then it just stopped working. Tried to reload it multiple times, and it will not connect to the server. No matter what Internet connection I am on. I do not recommend trying to use it and simply using the website.

Seems Abandoned

Downloaded but says can’t connect to server. App Support doesn’t load. What a shame.

App doesn’t open

Useless

Trash

The recent update are terrible. Heavy nasty glitches.

What happened?

I love this app and one of the things I most liked was the ability to put holds on books the Palm Beach Library System has ordered but not received, usually because they haven’t been published yet. However, lately, although I can find books that have been preordered, there’s no way to put a hold on them. I finally went to the Library website (several extra steps!) and found that I could put holds on preordered books there. Please fix this so I can put holds on preordered books from the app.

Terrible, Horrible, Very Bad App

This is the best you can do? I used Overdrive for years and loved it. This app is awful! A search returns results for books in formats I’m not looking for: hardcover, audio. What? It’s an app for e-books! Why show me hard copy books!
Ok, so there’s a filter option. Yay! Oh wait. It has to be reset before every single search.
FAQ? Clicking on them reveals...well. Nothing.
Also, children’s books? Young adult? There doesn’t appear to be a way to filter out all the things I don’t want to see.
Is anyone actually using this?

Some things need to be improved

First of all, I love this app; I think it’s great that you can know when your checkouts are due and that you can place a hold by just opening an app (and not having to search on the web and try to find the right webpage to do so). However, I believe there are things that need to be improved. For example: sometimes when I open the app to check my checkouts and my holds, the app gets stuck, and it simply doesn’t show you the accurate information. If you could make an improvement there, it would be really awesome!

Love the convenience

I am an avid reader, and enjoy the convenience of this app. When certain books are not available on the shelves, I always have access to an ebook version of it. It’s nice that there is a virtual copy of your library card barcode as well, but it does not seem to be usable at the self-check out station. I like that I can search on the app versus accessing the website.

Can’t Open

I downloaded this on my IPad, it looked great, the next day when I had time I went back after having trouble with the new app the library decided to start using to download to my IPhone and it won’t. I mostly use my audio books on my IPhone and my daughter uses the IPad. I am so frustrated with these apps under preforming. Now I have to go back to the library again, time I don’t have!
