About

Palma is a running and walking app for Catholics. Record your miles, offer them for someone, and keep your faith and your training in one place, alongside the people you love. OFFER EVERY MILE Record a run, walk or ride with GPS and offer it for someone: a friend who is sick, your parish, the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Your offering travels with the activity, so your Circle sees what you ran for. YOUR CIRCLE Follow friends and family and see their routes, offerings and photos in one feed. Give a Palm to cheer someone on, leave a comment, or send a message. Tag the people you went with, and when you and a friend record the same route at the same time, your runs link up on their own. COACHED BY SEBASTIAN Sebastian builds you a plan for running, walking, swimming or cross training, and writes you a short note each day about where you are in it. Keep more than one plan at once. Move a day when life gets in the way, or mark a day injured, sick or rest, and it won't count as a miss. Ask him anything about your training. START WITH THE GOSPEL The Faith tab has the day's Mass readings with a short reflection on the Gospel, the Rosary of the day, meditations, the basic prayers, and a board of intentions your Circle is praying for. Log Mass, Confession, prayer, fasting and almsgiving right from the Record tab. STATS WORTH CHECKING See this week against your usual week, your records, and a trend chart you can filter by runs, walks or anything else and scrub through week by week. SHARE IT Turn any activity into a video for your story: the route draws itself, your numbers come in, then your photos. If you went with friends, you all celebrate on screen. WORKS WITH WHAT YOU USE Bring in workouts from Apple Health and your Apple Watch, and import Garmin runs with their maps. Turn on Live updates so the people who follow you can watch your route as you go. Palma uses your location only while you are recording an activity. Your profile can be private, and any activity can be kept to yourself.

Share your run as a video. The route draws itself, your numbers arrive, then the photos from that run, ready for your Instagram story. If you went with friends, you all celebrate on screen first. Run with friends, and Palma notices. When you and someone you follow both record the same route at the same time, your runs link up on their own. Either of you can unlink it. A plan for every kind of training. Keep a running plan, a walking plan, swimming or cross training at the same time, each with its own note from Sebastian. Archive a plan to run it again later, or share it as a link so a friend can join at the week you're on. Plans that bend with your week. Move a training day to another day, or mark a day injured, sick or a rest day. It won't count as a miss, and your streak carries right over it. Stats worth a look. See this week against your usual week, your records as medals, and a trend chart you can filter by runs or walks and scrub through with a press and hold. Mass, Confession and prayer are logged from the Record panel, with a gold check on anything you've already logged today. Voice notes and files in messages, and invite friends from your contacts. Import runs from Garmin. Bring in a .fit file or the .zip from Garmin Connect, maps included. Plus a Start button that ripples when your GPS is ready, routes drawn in a line that warms from gold to orange, the word on the Gospel right after the Gospel in the readings, and many smaller fixes.
