Unreasonably bad

I’ve never written an app review before. But I just want to make clear to Palmetto - your app is painfully bad to the point it’s almost unusable. No Apple Pay option? Crashes all the time and gets stuck loading. I’ve only tried to order through this twice and I honestly think calling the store to order ahead of time or just order in person and wait 10 minutes is easier and would still save more time than trying to use this app.

Buggy

App says there’s been a pending order on my account since November. I can’t get rid of the banner notification when I’m in the app. Food is very good but they need a major overhaul of their app.

Please put money into updating and maintaining the app

Over and over again, when I use this app, I experience loading bars that never stop unless I reset the app. Countless times I’ve ordered,
Gotten an on screen confirmation and when I show up to palmetto, my order never went through. Sometimes it tells me my order fails and when I reorder I get charged twice, because the app said my order didn’t go through when really it did. Please make this a better experience…

Unable to select location

I’ve tried multiple times to troubleshoot to order a simple bowl. I’m unable to select the location that I want no matter how hard I try. I’m sure they lose lots of customers this way. Too frustrated with the app to place an order

Buggy App

First of all I LOVE Palmetto, their açaí bowls are top tier. Just wish they fixed the app. Many times I’ve ordered through the app with the stores claiming they didn’t receive it even though my card was charged. They make it but have to wait even longer once getting to the store. So please Palmetto, fix your app and I’ll change this review to 5 stars, the app itself is 1 star.

Regularly broken dining app

It’s amazing to me how bad this app is for a store that actually serves good açaí bowls. And I don’t mean the UI. Basic functionality doesn’t work. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn’t help.
The app now shows the “in progress” wheel spinning for an order I made 2 months ago. This makes it impossible to make a new order. When I tried to order last week, the store I sent the order to didn’t get my order.
I bought a gift card today and I’m unable to add it to the wallet section in the app.
I still want to use this app to order ahead of time but looks like I can’t do this any more.

App doesn’t load

Just a black screen with white loading bar

It’s down again

I typically have to restart this app a couple times before I’m finally able to get into place an order. I stare at a blank screen with a white bar, running along the bottom for quite a while. i’ve had bugs where the purchase doesn’t go through only to find it went through twice. Today, I’m not able to get in at all. I couldn’t find anywhere in the app or on the site to leave feedback so I’m leaving it here.

We love Palmetto and we visit every week, but it’s always a struggle to place the order.

I also enjoy that you don’t get the confirmation of your order being ready until the evening or next day. But the staff is always fast and it’s ready or almost ready when I get there.

another major bug I wish they’d watch out for is that the quantity selection doesn’t work. If you go through the flow and customize a bowl and change the quantity to two and add it to your cart it will only add one to your cart. You have to edit the cart to change the quantity. This has screwed us up before and left one of us without lunch because we didn’t realize it did this . :(

Doesn’t work

I downloaded this app multiple times and it never loads

Mediocre UX

There are many irksome aspects of this app. Opening the app takes about 10 seconds; no clue why, given how simple the app is, especially compared to say Instagram or Lyft. The app is cluttered with a load of nonsense that I doubt most customers care about. I’m guessing they’ve contracted out the app development which would explain the generally poor, disjointed and redundant pages within it. There’s gotta be a 3rd party service, like Wix, for businesses to easily make their own app. I’m guessing it’d be both cheaper and better.

Not good enough.

This app is pure butt, and I drive 30 mins to go to the nearest location, so I like the food. But this app is so terrible.

Does not work on iPhone 13 Pro Max

Requires quitting and opening multiple times to get past initial loading screen. Frozen on checkout page indefinitely.

Terrible App

Possibly the worst app in market. Takes forever to register an account. Doesn’t take payment when card info has been entered. No Apple Pay. Didn’t order, went down the street for something else.

Submitted my order, paid and then just went blank screen - this happened multiple times - great thought I ordered and guess not

App is freezing

When I click reorder, the app keeps freezing and the infinite loop circle pops up. Tried exiting the app, multiple phones, they all have the same problem. Can’t order! Seems like a big problem!

Missing Apple Pay

App works okay to order but doesn’t not let you use Apple Pay! What a waste of my time!

I pay too much for smoothies for the app to be this bad

Like, for real. Hire some real developers. My app orders are constantly not sent to the location, so I’m not “skipping the line” in fact, it takes longer to argue with the workers that I already freaking paid than it would to wait in line. Today I couldn’t even attempt to order through the app, it sent me through an endless loop of “must log in” so I log in, add to cart, go to order then I get “sorry, your session has expired” and the cycle starts all over again.
This app is so consistently bad, the ordering in person is so obnoxious, I might have to find a different spot for my usual smoothie fix.

No option to order smoothies

Tried building a smoothie in the app but all I see is bowls. It was there a few weeks ago. I also can’t edit orders in the cart, I have to redo the whole item.
