Simple app that works
Had no complaints with this app. I was able to access and read palo alto online news articles with no problems.

It's a great app- but only when it's working!
I don't know why it's taking so long for this app to get updated but it still doesn't ever load! The app was great when it worked but it seems like PA Online has given up on this app or something.

It's an understatement to say that an app that won't even open needs more work. Thus far, it's useless...
Revamp
Stopped working. If you guys want to know what a good local news app looks like, check out the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Hire whoever they did, cause they did it right.
No longer works on iPod Touch running IOS5
Was a great way to keep up with Palo Alto news on IPod-Touch. However, it now only works very rarely after installing iOS 5. Only see "Palo Alto Online" screen and then it does not proceed to news page. Very disappointed.
Not good
I'm glad that an app like this exists, and I do check it several times a month, but it's almost embarrassing that an "official" app for a city in the heart of Silicon Valley is so poorly designed. Seriously. Use the NY Times app for a bit and compare the polish of the graphical elements and how each app moves from one screen of information to the next. I'm not saying that NYT is the pinnacle of design or that every news app should mimic their style, but Palo Alto deserves better.

This app crashes and just has a blank screen.

This is a great app. I especially like the sports page and the ability to post your own news.
